I Love the Baverian Cream... Not too many donut shops use the real Bavarian cream... I recently visited a donut shop and they put frosting in the donut 🍩, never going back there...

I am 100% going this weekend! I'm going to buy multiple boxes to give away to neighbors, friends and customers. As a small business owner myself, I value every single sale and happy customer. It's tough running a business in CA! I am so grateful to be open and to build the loyal clientele that she clearly has. The pandemic made everyone change habits and spending. Easy to overlook a mom and pop donut shop but it's so important to keep them in business. Can't wait to meet her and give her a big tip!

I feel bad for her I honestly do because I love family owned donuts over commercial donuts like yum yum, Duncan, or Krispy K, but today I just bought a dozen donuts and it was 25 bucks. Sooo yea. Donuts are expensive as heck nowadays.

Going to be brutally honest here, innovate with the times or eventually close. Nothing in this story nor what I see online will save this business in the long term. People will eventually forget and stop going again. The (new) Instagram helps, but they are posting the wrong things. There are about 5 donut shops within a 10 mile radius, their donuts looks more to the modern times. 44 years is a excellent run, and I do hope they can do something to turn things around. I wish nothing bet the best.
