(One man band by Mantai Chow) Tibetan monks spent almost a week creating this intricate colored sand painting at Brookfield Place in New York before dismantling it at a ceremony.

It’s a sad, but true message. Never get overly attacked to something, nothing lasts forever. However, the memories you have of it will.

yes your soul does last forever. your soul is energy (not that we HAVE souls, we are souls) and it cannot be created nor destroyed- just transferred.

On the contrary, that is a good thing , to be good to and to love & respect your parents, God appreciates that, but you should know that we are all mortal , if both of you are good, and I'm certain you are ( because of your comment) .. you will meet again in the afterlife..regardless of who leaves this world first... and then you will live together forever!

If it is destroyed to teach the lesson of non attachment, then what about their religion? Are they not supposed to attach themselves to its teachings? I've learned a lot from this.
@gavinhendrie27504 жыл бұрын
No. The teaching is the vehicle with which Enlightenment is attained. Attachment to the teaching (or anything else, for that matter) is an obstacle to Enlightenment
@clFer777 Жыл бұрын
Budha said that is like a boat to get to the other side of a river.. once you get there the boat must be left behind. Now in mundane significance, everything must last what naturally must last. Life, knowledge, things.. understand that and appreciate everything while is there. I mean, there is a timespan when you leverage what you reach, but that is not attachment. That is a "post process". That is what I have understood. Humbly from Chile 🇨🇱
@Noumenon4Idolatry8 ай бұрын
Attachment = desire or need Aversion = the opposite. Everything you abhor and don’t want. Polarization in terms of compulsion. Liberation is freedom from compulsion. You can still be in this universe and do things without compulsion. There is paradox in the answer. Beyond logic is perception. Beyond compulsive polarization = liberation freedom and enlightenment.

Thats how I feel about Germany right now.
@gardensofthegods6 ай бұрын
What does that mean ?
@tyrantonion66606 ай бұрын
@@gardensofthegods I mean that Germans through effords of discipline and hard work have builded up Germany after WWII from the ashes and their goods were highly valued across the world. Now the german greens continue merkels ruinous work and flush everything that was good about germany down the toilet in a few years. Me and many other people can only stand by and watch how this goes on and on. For example: The last 3 nuclear power plants have been shut down and they were damaged so that nobody could reactivate them again. I need to distance myself from the anger I feel and isolate myself from the madness and stupidity that is unfolding here. Did I answer your question?
