SANDAKPUR | NEPAL - INDIA BORDER AT 3636M | ILAM | PART III | S02E03

Sandakpur is located in Ilam district at an altitude of 3636 meter above sea level. The spot has some amazing sunrise and sunset views owing to its height. “Sandakpur or Sandakphu” is a mountain peak in the Singalila Ridge on the border between India and Nepal.
For our third episode, we explored the magical East Nepal which included places like Janakpur, Shree Antu, Kanyam, Ilam & finally Sandakpur.

I'm from West bengal, India. I visited sandakphu in January'21. Indian roads from Mane Bhanjang to Gairibas is really good motorable road, from Gairibas to sandakphu, the condition is not that good. To our good luck that time when we visited the weather was clear and we could see Mt Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Three Sisters' Peak and The Perfect Sleeping Buddha.
