I've been redoing my truck body and frame on my tri-axle. Only wish I could have sandblasted. Flap disc and wire wheel on a 4" grinder.

Even Red Green knew enough to wear Red not green. Your CNC table looks awesome. You could do grave stones. Won't be long and your truck will be back at work, it looks good.

The video you took of the 1/64 truck that is Peter Sigona my best friend . He is the best for buying 1/64 rigs. You should talk to him about doing a run on one of your rigs ? It can be done .

Thanks for the insight into the sandblasting. Have you tried dry ice, or does the severity of the New York rust require the sand? You may have covered this previously, and if so I will search back, but is there a specific reason you use the L models? Is it something to do with the Bridge Law, or resale, or just bragging rights? Thanks and take care. P.S. The Little Guy looked like he was really enjoying the tractors.

Never dry ice ….. w900L by choice. And def the most popular model ….. it’s also good at retaining drivers

I’d powder coat or zinc coat it then paint it it will last 10 years or more
@markantinore64188 ай бұрын
Powder coat won’t last 3 years here in the north east. Horrible application for a truck frame. You could do a zinc primer with a 2 part epoxy as an intermediary layer and a siloxane or urethane top coat. However, cost becomes a factor. Additional steps equates to additional costs. This 2 part industrial epoxy will have a siloxane top coat. It is a very good system. I own the company that is doing the work in this video.
