Love watching you work, Mick. I lost your posts for a while, I actually had to find you again tonight. KZbin picks what you watch even if you're subscribed with a Chanel. It was great to see you again 😀.

I think that has something to do with my KZbin ranking. I list every video as entertainment/vlog but somehow KZbin has me in an educational channel category I don't aim to educate and never said this is how to because I don't aim videos this way my rank has dropped significantly in turn making KZbin see the videos as bad and stopping showing them to potentially people that enjoy a work vlog

Mick, where would we be if zip ties hadn’t been invented. Great update mate. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Mick - always thinking way outside of the box, 1 step ahead, seeing a problem and fixing it before it becomes a serious problem that stops you letting a client down & you earning a days pay. Any & all trades. People like yourself & very few & far between. Why your work schedule is always fully booked; recommendations & word of mouth being 'ring Mick, he can sort & fix it'.
@MobileblasterАй бұрын
😂 if I don't fix the issue all it will do is cost me money in the long run my media burn rate was kind of expected for the situation but I know I could have saved around half the media I used if I had better air control only 1 person to blame and that's me if I don't realise its a issue then I cannot fix it this will catch a lot of people out and get stressed that it's eating into the slim profits I knew straight away I had problems but I couldn't do much until I was back home I'm lucky I have experience to fall back on or all winter would be a expensive learning curve and possibly still not realise what the problem is

Your a man after my own heart. I use bungee cords to keep my shop planer guard blowing sawdust into the collection bin. Zip ties have probably saved the world a few times over.

If it cannot be fixed with tie raps and gaffa tape you're not using enough eva that or it's not worth fixing 😂

Hot air holds a lot of water! I live near Houston, in the southern US. When it’s hot during our nine months of summer (feels like 9 months anyway), our air conditioners have a stream of water coming out of the condensate line. I’ve enjoyed your videos for a long time. Well done sir!
@MobileblasterАй бұрын
It's not so bad in the 2 days of summer we get 😂 its mainly when it's damp and raining mainly all the time our humidity levels are high. I'm mainly talking about the air that's been compressed if its hotter than the ambient temp then Its hard to separate the moisture out of it. I appreciate you watching glad you enjoy the videos😊👌👍

Yeah it didn't affect the quality of work it used properly 2x as much media as it should have 😬 main reason why I got straight on with trying to combat the main issues 😂

Thanks for the tip about KZbin ratings. I'll bear it in mind for next time I don't learn anything.
@MobileblasterАй бұрын
😂 yeah I don't aim these videos as educational because I know I leave a lot out that's really important I have to keep some stuff off KZbin to separate me from the next guy if I did a how too and someone got hurt or worse still hurt someone else I would hate for that to be linked with me somehow a lot can go wrong and really fast. Because I don't aim to be in this category and youtube putting me with other channels that aim to educate my rank is punished I am happy to be a vlog type channel that way I feel I'm not directly involved if someone tries to copy my way of doing things I've never said this is how too as everyone has the own way of doing things and my way isn't the only way 😊 👌 👍

One thing to think about is your media container. ( Is it exposed to the outside atmosphere) If so that's a source of moisture right there. Just an obsrvation.
@MobileblasterАй бұрын
Yeah media was perfect I thought at the time it was because iron silicate was sat in the pot (dry in the van) but humidity when the bags are open to the air will suck some moisture up that was my original thought as it was sat for around 5 days and we had a lot of rain prior. When I had the pot in pressure hold format I noticed the condensation on release this told me ever my water traps weren't open enough or the air was passing the traps only way this can happen is if im not cooling the air enough or I've problems with the compressor ie is it running too hot (blocked rads or low oil even blocked air filters will make the compressor run hotter than standard specs) I checked all these and quickly pointed the finger at the aftercooler fans not been able to work as I planned hot air is impossible to separate moisture especially when humidity levels are rising hotter days are slightly better if everything else is working properly as humidity levels are slightly lower
@Moh4n95Ай бұрын
Mick i think its the time off the year now that the air is really very humid i do have also sometime problems that my media does not coming out good and i do have a air dryer i do have to empty a few time a day my bucket so much moisture it's almost whole buckets full.
@MobileblasterАй бұрын
😬 I've fitted auto drains to my water traps piping them into 1 pipe and letting it pour on the ground if I'm in areas where this isn't allowed I use a gorilla tub and this gets full every 2 or 3 hours 😬

24:00 a lot of sparks, is that bad?
@MobileblasterАй бұрын
No that's just friction of the media if I was able to control the media a little better this wouldn't be picked up on camera. It's doing this all the time but not visible on camera 👍

@Mobileblaster22 күн бұрын
@louismessere6379 Oh no I will try my best to answer any questions and explain my logic the best I can but the way KZbin sees my videos they aren't aimed at that category they are putting me in turn my rank is affected and it takes a negative effect on the full channel although I'm not aiming to be in this category it's hard to explain but if I was to try and be an educational channel I would change the format and aim to explain alot more but again if I did this I wouldn't feel right if someone tried to copy my instructions and hurt themselves or others on this basis I stay wall clear as alot can go wrong and very fast 👍

Mick, I’ve never been overseas, but it seems like there is a lot more diesel powered vehicles over there than here in the USA. Wonder why?
@MobileblasterАй бұрын
Blame Germany they make such good diesel engines they get excellent mpg and rival the petrol(gas) version in power more reliable and go longer between services. Although my compressor is John deere engine (USA) and my iveco daily van is Italian it wouldn't make any sense to put a petrol(gas) engine in heavier equipment for reasons above
@sonicbluecoupeАй бұрын
@ I wish they offered more diesel engines here in the us

How many bags does your pot hold? how long does it last before you have to fill it again?
@MobileblasterАй бұрын
That depends on the media it will fit 1000kgs or 50kgs depending on what you are using burn time also vary significantly I can make 1 fill last 4 to 6 hours or as little as 25 minutes depending on what you are doing This is the tall tail sing things are playing like it's supposed to all this is learnt through time in the helmet like blasters that work for someone who don't care about optimal use will run very rich because they think its faster its all swings and round abouts finding the balance that works for the individual blasting ie diesel consumption to media burn also plays a massive factor I know my sweet spot and I'm very optimised I have nothing else to think about (when im in the helmet) only how can I save that little bit more is it time media or diesel always keeping the quality at the forefront of my mind 👍
