Sandcastle Waterpark Blackpool VLOG | August 2024

Sandcastle Waterpark is the UK's largest indoor waterpark with over 18 slides and attractions, there is something to entertain the whole family! In this video, Scott experiences the slides, enjoys the wave pool, has a wander around the Rapids and shows other areas of the water park too.

My son is at Uni and has worked at the Sandcastle since he was 17, now just at weekends and holidays when he's home. They're a wonderful company to work for, they've treated him so well, always giving him time off when he needs it for exams etc. They have a close bond with staff with works nights out etc. He's made so many friends from colleagues and the pay is fantastic for what is really a Saturday job. I'd highly recommend it to any young people looking for part time work. The park itself is great, but the only downside to the Sandcastle at the moment is the 3 hour allotted time slots you get for entry which they've kept from C0- v1d. It makes entry quite expensive. I wish they would go back to all day ticket entry. But other than that, it's an absolute must for holiday makers/visitors to Blackpool. I haven't been to every indoor water park in the UK but it must be the best surely?

The Sandcastle Waterpark is great fun, you always leave with a big smile. Probably one of the best indoor waterparks in the UK along with WaterWorld in Stoke-on-Trent. The one at Alton Towers is naff. Also the Waterfalls Cafe in the Sandcastle is open to the public, not just customers.

They should take over the casino next door - they could do with a nice outdoor lazy river and slides. IF you go midday the place is just too busy, so it would be good if there was more space to spread people out a bit. .

Remember, people from 1st September, Merlin Entertainments will be handing over the running of the water park back to the council, and they will not extend the contract words from Kenny Head of Blackpool Merlin Cluster

@yourexperienceguide The other reason why I got this information i shut down a few days of the Sandcastle Water photography, the photos that was taken on the side winder master blaster we visited over the summer found put the wrist bands when scanned before going on the ride was out routine if the person goes down before you with out scanning wrist band the lifeguard should scan he universal wrist band before letting you go down if lifeguard didn't scan his the person before you photography would be unloaded to your wrist band when I finished my session with my family I have children and adults on my wrist band it was so serious I reported it to Jason Manager os Sandcastle and reported it ti bosses of Merlin, police and council let's say they took it seriously the photography was stopped till they sorted the issue breach of GDPR and pictures involving children in swim wear. That's when Kenny got involved and messaged me and apologised and mentioned this about handing over Sandcastle back to the Blackpool Council
