Ford 550s and armored trucks are very popular in theater. I saw numerous versions in Iraq utilized by Thales, blackwater, blue hackle and numerous security and risk management providers. The Sand Cat is superior compared to those generations I personally witnessed in Iraq. I literally witnessed the aftermath of a vehicle that looked like a South African Marauder get pummeled in Fallujah. Thar vehicle definitely wasn't getting back in a fight. The monocoque area was cracked and the portal axles were destroyed. My team saved all of them.
