I'm stuck in dilemma ; whether to appreciate your effort to speak in Mundari ... or say some harsh words .. . All i can say is please learn it correctly n propagate ..... i don't mean to demean you But as a linguist/Hodo/Munda i would say it's a disappointment to watch you saying Creole , it's your ignorance that you were not able to differentiate your mother tongue /Mundari /Hodo Jagar from Santhali .. N.. one more thing ... "सोबेन को जोहार" is grammatically inappropriate Kindly rephrase it as सोबेन कोके जोहार।

Firstly, thankyou for rectifying my mistake. I am not a linguist in Mundari language, and have not studied the language. If you have watched the full video, I don't think there's anything that will put you in a dilemma since have hardly spoken 2-3 sentences (phrases) in Mundari in the video.. Whatever little I know, its just through hearing others speak, and that too in a short period of time. If you watched the full video, you must know that I haven't stayed with people who communicate in Mundari 24*7. My parents and elders are satisfied with the fact that I can atleast understand and communicate with the elders despite staying in a Non-Mundari speaking environment since childhood, and am satisfied with their satisfaction. @@NidhiShipra2299 Academically, I'm not a linguist nor did I studied Mundari , Pardon for using that word , it's just, I understand 10 languages/dialects and has potential over +5 other languages . May be I took hard on you "if I did so " I seek my sincere apology , it's because when i moved to Jharkhand(RNC) for higher studies from N.E ,to be precise A.P (Since birth ), l lived listening by , I don't know Mundari from most of Jharkhandi . It not like I got an opportunity to learn mother tongue , as I was raised by single parent , living with outsiders in alien place and still living outside. What I imply is, if I can learn Mundari, as an immigrant ,it's disheartening to see people from Jharkhand not to speak in Mundari . Actually it's my fault/bad i idolized Jharkhand and people of jharkhand by living outside. I'm not holding grudge against you , Actually if someone says "Mother Tongue " in wrong way , something kicks in me and I get divulge into it. Sorry ,emotion kicked in. Lastly , My Apology for Venting out, Seek Absolution.

@@yoglalbarla8680 If someone says that their mother tongue is Hindi, that doesn't mean they are fluent and absloutely correct with the usage of Hindi language. Same goes for other languages as well. As I said earlier, I have too learned from listening people speak, that doesn't mean we speak Mundari in a daily basis. Mother tongue can be only spoken and practiced when surrounded by people sharing same language. And again as I said earlier, I do put my best efforts in having a converstaion in Mundari when surrounded by people speaking the same language. You won't find people speaking just one language in a culturally diversified society. I know the importance of a mother tongue and therefore haven't forgotten whatever little I know while I stay in a complete alien land where not even a single Indian languages are spoken. I understand your concern, but please understand, ME and YOU are not different. I too have been brought up by my aunt, away from my parents and native place. And its not your fault/bad that you appreciated Jharkhand, rather you should keep appreciating.
