there's a bloke in the background at 48 seconds who must have a time machine... he clearly takes a call on his mobile phone whilst watching...

Rick, when Peter allowed me to use this video on my channel a few years ago, I had pointed out the time-traveler in it. Peter has some masterful videos on his channel.

Great clip, the germans love the old oompah don't they ?

Two things spring to mind.......1. Oom-pah-pah! Oom-pah-pah! That's how it goes Oom-pah-pah! Oom-pah-pah! Ev'ryone knows 2.....the video is like the film clips they used to show on Eurovision in the 60s-70s before that nation's song was performed!

Oh rubbish Chris you are just sour - you probably liked fusty old dusty.

It was released in West Germany under the title 'Ich sage stop!'. Definitely weaker than her mid-60s singles, such as '(There's) Always Something There To Remind me', 'Message Understood', 'Girl Don't Come', 'Long Live Love', 'I'll Stop At Nothing'. Of course her 1967 Eurovision smash 'Puppet On A String' should also be mentioned, but she didn't like that song very much.

@@peterchecksfield9958 I agree Peter and how lovely and sohisticated they were. Jeff Banks was the finest designer of the 1960s/70sand80s. He is a really nice guy.I like his menswear.

Oh no she wasnt. Dusty was not a patch on Sandie. Dusty in Memphis was overrated not a patch on the Sandie Shaw Supplement.
