This was hands down the most satisfying sentencing I have ever watched. The way he looks at his lawyer and mouths what the fuck? He thought the Judge was about to tell him he’s a good person at heart who made a terrible but forgivable and understandable mistake. But what the Judge said was what every single person in that courtroom - probably including his own lawyer - was itching to say. All while completing ignoring that little tantrum, just carried on talking over the top. He wrapped it all up with a bow and sent him on his merry way to his forever home, to die. That hit the spot.

i really appreciate this judge, in that throughout the trial he was very collected, very calm, almost laid back ... (sometimes i thought maybe a smidge too much, but hey, not to any extent of compromising the proceedings etc), comes across to me as a very kind and gentle person. then here, i respected him even more, and reminded me of that saying "don't mistake my kindness for weakness"... someone like ali, in their deluded narc mind where they are the smartest person in the room, i can imagine he may have thought the judge was swindled a little by his bs and somehow missed the cross exam where his mask completely fell... the shock and indignation on his face at the crux of the judge's sentencing eludes to that. i love that this judge remained how he did throughout trial but when it all came down to this juncture, told him exactly the conclusion he came to of ali's character- didn't hold back, just said it how it is. and if it isn't clear, i agree with the judge's findings, and i thank him for his work.
