I’ve never watched this series, but I caught a couple of music video...he looks like the nice guy, but the girl wants the bad dude. Sad! Might have to check it out, but I heard it’s got an lousy ending...like it should continue to another season. Beautiful video!

Sidney is not really the bad dude 😉 *spoiler* I knew about the ending but I was still very much enjoying it, I can recommend!!!

It's up, down, up down, up, down, up, fetch the box of hankies! The acting, dancing, music and chemistry are superb. The denouement is awful and a bit daft. It should have ended at the end of Season 1, with a Jane Austen, happy ending! However, you can make more money from 3 Seasons (even if half of best cast members have left and there are holes in the plot)!

Stringer would have been a better match for Charlotte. He wasn't damaged like Sidney and Colbourne. She could talk to him. He respected her and had the same interests. He might not be rich but neither is Charlotte. He saw her qualities from the outset, while Sidney was being a misogynist! Stringer is kind and shy. His father has made him feel like he'll never make anything of himself and shouldn't try! Tom Parker stole his ideas! He was a better rower and cricketer, than Sidney! If he'd been bolder, while Sidney was being nasty, he might have won her heart. She definitely flirted with him, though, latterly, it was to make (wealthy) Sidney jealous! Once she thought she had Sidney, she wasn't really interested in Stringer! Karma came to Charlotte. Poor Stringer lost his father, Charlotte and his dog, Hercules, seemed to have disappeared! His career was held up due to the fire, as well! I would like to see Master Architect, James Stringer, turn up in Season 3, to save Charlotte from Farmer, Ralph Starling, and tedious (and far less attractive) Colbourne. Unfortunately, despite her words, Charlotte is in a rush to marry a wealthy man, regardless of his personality! She doesn't care if they are nasty and disrespectful. They just get her alone, kiss her and dump her! She still goes back for more, convinced that she can redeem them. I think Superwoman Charlotte has a bit of a God complex! 😀
