Hi Mate....Im not a 100% sure if i done a video or not on the Penn Fathom LD15 but what I can assure you of is that it can be fiited with ease as ive done several mate....good luck. if i can help you know where to find me

Whats wrong with the half pendulum. I can understand the casts being banned that involve the lead coming round in an arc around your body before going straight over head, but the half pendulum goes straight over your head without coming round at any angle?

it was classed as a form of unsafe cast by the members at the AGM..It was put to the vote and it was passed by a huge majority so thats the way it is mate...and just like a lot of members even tho im the secretary i still try my best to abide by the rules marra

what about a shock leader for a fixed spool reel
@SmokeSolo19758 жыл бұрын
+peter Murray Just because its a fixed spool the rules of shockleader is still the same. You can still crack off due to either the bail arm closing mid cast or line wrapping around the tip.
@petermurray92488 жыл бұрын
I know but how many times round the spool and what is the best type of knot
@davidstorton9108 жыл бұрын
+peter Murray As a rule of thumb you want twice the rod length for all shock leaders, I always add one yard

How do you clean your fishing rigs after use? Or do you just put them back in the box?
@SandmansTackleTime18 жыл бұрын
I always dispose of the hook and snood. However if the rig body is still in good condition especially if ive been fishing clean ground then yes i may wash it in clean fresh water add a new hook and snood and use again mate

Hello mate, how are you? may i ask your advice on what rod should i take? im looking for a strong beachcaster rod that can handle 150 to 200 grams wieghts and can cast mroe than 100 metres. im from argentina an over there seas are more hard to fish. its roughter and you need to cast at least 100 metres to get a fish, thats why im looking for a od that can handle weights but still has sensitive tip. hope you can help me with this! Kind regards, Santiago

I'm very interested in the blue marlin 70 lb shock leader that you use but I'm located in the USA would you know if the shop you buy it from would sell it online or am I out of luck, if I could get it I would buy then 1 lb spool.
