The guy that got in the way was disrespectful. I like her.

It's really fucking rude to see that man in this video. Get him out! Rude! Sandra has beautiful teeth, and showing a smile is really inspiring!

Indeed! Despite the rudeness, Sandra’s beauty, talents, and representation of our great nation, and I noticed the LGBTQIA2+ Pride pin. Her gorgeous smile, beautiful vibes, and flowing positivity are so inspiring. I love Sandra’s impactful presence felt and the way she carried on the show with dignity and grace. Thank you so much, Sandra. 🤟

That man should've been standing still with his hand over his heart, facing the flag!!

I never feel more patriotic than when I see the Star Spangled Banner sang in ASL.

This isn’t ASL this is a different sign language I’m pretty sure, because the signs are a lot more different then what I’ve seen from ASL

@@_captaincross_ She's a deaf American actress. She's been signing ASL all her life, this is ASL. There are different accents of ASL though, so it may be an accent you haven't seen yet.

@_captaincross_, that's ASL, it's just not done properly. I know this because I'm fluent in it

Reminds me of my wedding first dance. I have beautiful videos of the caterers taking away our dishes in front of the camera instead of the dance we prepared for months. Memorialized forever.

That guy shouldn't be walking around blocking the interpreter like that. Who wonders around during the national atthum?

You should never disrespect the sign language interpreter by going in front of them.

Absolutely. I thought that was disrespectful. Sandra put on an impactful show, and her vibrant presence inspired me.

@@j_a_rouen3599 indeed. Maybe he should try signing the National Anthem and something similar could happen to him so he knows what it feels like to be in Sandra's shoes.

Actually when someone’s signing your supposed to walk through or in front of em and not make it a big deal
@signer25 Жыл бұрын
@@rylanputnam9807 I don't understand. How are the deaf suppose to see the interpreter if someone is suppose to walk in front of them? Wouldn't blocking the interpreter defeat the purpose?

I understand the disrespect from the guy in the way. A lot of hearing people don't understand deaf culture. They don't believe ASL is a complete language of its own. Instead of trying to bash someone for insulting our culture, why not address it? Use it as a chance to educate people about deaf culture. Also, think about the situation. What was happening behind the camera? He seemed to be talking to someone out of view. Maybe he didn't realize he was in the way. I'm not defending this. I see it as a learning opportunity for everyone. I try to see it from a different point of view.

Can you hear the words of the Star Spangled Banner in his description of the Shooting? I can. ...And the Rockets 🚀 did flare, the bombs bursting in air, gave thru to the night, that our Flag was still there. Oh say can you see ❤... Love Trumps All. Be Brave .

It is so typical. People have no respect for people that are signing. He shouldn’t even be in the frame of her, trying to sign our national anthem or anything else. I used to have people walk in front of me and dip down a little bit like that made a difference.

Doesn't he know appropriate behavior for the National Anthem is to stand and remove your hat?! He did neither! How disrespectful and disgusting!

Why? I find it weird that the seppos have this weird flag fetish. It's almost like their gun fetishism.
