A moment of reflection, amongst decades of constant war!

Marius, his armour, beaten by axe and blade, stained with Eldari blood, mixing with the reds and golds of the chapter, entered the chamber. His chainsword and bolt pistol lay dormant upon his hips, his jump pack’s jets were ashen cold. A statue of the angel… his gene-father… Sangunius, stood at the end of the hall, pointing a sword to the sky. No chaplain stood upon the stage, no candle was lit, no incense floated upon the air. The chamber was bare, none but him filled the room. He walked to the altars at the end, in front of the angel, a limp upon him, dragging his hefty leg behind him, his entire being sounding throughout the monastery. Upon reaching the statue, the Primaris dropped to a knee, a deep and loud thud followed in echos. He lowered his head, his shaken breaths flowing from his vox-speaker. “Father….” He croaked, his voice filled with pain of physicality and emotionality. “I am the last one… Valorian… Ealdor… Corbulo… all dead… slain by Xenos… They fought well…” He paused for a moment. He took a heavy breath and spoke again, his voice breaking slightly. “We were the last ones… the only bastion… to provide time for escape… the escape of your father’s citizens.” He looked up, the tears fell down his obscured face. He looked up at the angel before he took his helm from his head, setting it to the stone floor. “Why is fate so cruel? Tell me, father… why?” He said as he wept. “Your sons turn savage with time’s continuation… with our consumption of blood we fall farther…” He shook his head. “We gain your memory… we connect to you… in our attempt at wholeness, we slowly lose ourselves….” He took a breath as he gazed upon the unmoving statue of his father. “In my years of service, I have seen many a brother fall to it… the Black Rage they call it… angels turned savage…” He looked down again, the tears dripped from his cheeks, splashing on the floor. “Your leaving hurt your sons more than you could ever know…” The tears began to flow more freely. “I still remember the day… the day my mother was ripped from my arms…” He looked up at the golden statue. “We were gathering aspirants… She called my name, I turned to see what was barely skin and bone rushing towards me… she was so frail and sick…” He paused momentarily. “How something so weak was able to summon such strength is unknown to me… She collapsed at my feet and I cradled her as she once did me… long ago… until Kardes… a chaplain… took her from my arms and out of the cathedral… bolt gun shattered the silence… he returned… saying he’d given her the ‘emperor’s peace’…” He looked down… “Why, why is fate so cruel father?… Why?…” Suddenly as of next to him, Marius heard a whisper. “My son…”

Man, even though that's ai generated art, it's way more visually bold and evocative then anything GW has actually made in like, a decade.

​@@callumwhite2116 No where, but it is the most likely case given how many of the space Marine helmets don't quite fit any of the established versions seen on models. Like for this one, the helmet is the general shape and style of the Primaris or mark 7 while the vox grill is closer to the mark 3 more than anything else.

@@callumwhite2116 for this stuff, it doesn't really matter since it's just a filler image there to give a music playlist more than a black background. I don't care for how the channel owner is selling these images though.
