I will keep being crazy but I think Scorpions have to be one of the most ignored and slept on unit in the game, they can do so much for a comp I think its insane everyone is not throwing in one or two of them. Just the +250% damage buff to all your units shooting the same target is worth the cost of getting a acid Scorpion on the field unless the only thing you are fighting is mass chaff or air. +250% damage taken is not 2.5x damage, its 3.5x. Every single Fortress or whatever that is hitting a unit affected by acid is like hitting it with 3.5 Fortresses each time hell even just a level 1 Scorpion that is throwing acid around will smack for almost 38k damage each shot after the first one. I mean yeah cool that level 2 Sandworm in the end has 117771 health that is a lot but that also means it would take 3533 acid DPS just from being in it, a level 1 Scorpion with acid would kill that with like 3 shots, a level 2 should pop it with 2. Would also be interesting to know if the +250% damage taken from acid helps with hackers? 3.5x faster hacks sounds spooky.

Typhoon missile is on paper a 32.6% DPS increase, ignoring overkill, fights ending in the middle of the 9s interval, range difference w.r.t. the normal attack, etc. In this game for example the opening salvo clears a lot of crawlers each round because they start pretty far, but this longer range doesn't get to chunk the worms like it might any other giant, and the damage would be wasted if the armies were closer together. Best case scenario for the upgrade is probably one typhoon pack (2700x2 damage) killing a few sledges or balls before the armies connect.

Going hackers vs worms, seems stupid, they loose the hacking progress as soon as the worm burrows, then they have to start over again...

I have a feeling the sandworm is made for the absorption module. You have a tech on it that heals while traveling..and it travels without taking dmg, strong attack+hp...

In that second match, I wonder what would have happened if he played L2 hackers behind those Typhoons, because the worms might just be held up long enough for the hackers to claim them. That would be crazy. Too bad the interactive replay mode isn't out yet.

Yay for music! Sometimes you have long quiet moments where you don't speak and i have ads on. I try to mute ads and when gameplay returns i am not always sure if i correctly unmuted YT again or not. Having music helps with this minor issue i had a lot.

@@meboz67 i don't have 12 for a month for entertainment - and even if i did get decent income i still wouldn't waste it for youtube instead of buying new pc game or subbing for streaming service for 1-2 months. That 12 dollars isn't going to improve my experience worth the money. (Also this doesn't really solve this specific issue as i keep pausing video for various other reasons relating to multitasking - i still would prefer video having music so i know for sure if its muted or not)
