Every scenario you mentioned is so accurate!! We were lucky to stay 5 years away from in-laws immediately after our marriage. And it gave a good start to us as a young couple and my relationship with my MIL was quite good. However, after 6 yrs, when she stayed with us for 3 months, my MIL and I developed bitterness towards each other.
