Hi Bob, hope both you and Jen have recovered from your virus'! I find flushing the tank cleaner through the plumbing to the toilet cassette also removes the green/black algae which can form in there. I tend to do this just before I move on to the cassette tank cleaner solution. Happy travels!

Must say it makes it so much easier to do these jobs at home. Our van is in storage and they won’t let me do work on it while it is there. Fortunately we are having building work on the house soon so we are using the van during this so I will use that opportunity to do it. I am also jealous of your Swift Command we have a new last year Bailey and it’s control panel looks so dated alongside the Alde panel. Hope you manage to get a rest before the NEC show as it looks full on. Guy.

Thanks for your dedication to providing content. Watched most if not all videos since getting a caravan for the first time last year. I don't think my wife and I would consider a motorhome until entirely necessary as at 6-3 foot tall we need all the room a caravan can offer. But eventually the aches and pains will demand a change I'm sure lol. Both of us love the dogs and couldn't believe it when your wife revealed her guilty pleasure playing Assasins Creed....I'm a game developer at 53 so total kudos/respect etc etc. I'm sure we'll go through all your videos again one day as we embark on a similar journey....good luck to you both....and the dogs of course.

We use something similar even though we don't drink from our taps, but we still clean our teeth and use it for cooking, so it's nice to know it's clean. Keep safe👍Mark & Coral

Hi Bob great vlog as usual. We hope life is treating you, Jenny & Poppy well. Have you done a separate vlog for the cleaning of your waste water tank sensor? Our swift control panel keeps telling us that the waste water tank is full, even when I have just cleaned the system. We have the same Swift Kon Tiki sports as yourselves, except ours is the dinette version.

There are a plethora of motorhome videos listing what you should and should not take, I have driven extensively in France over the years, even taking a 7.5 tonne over to move my parents over there when they were alive. Im finding the advice on the new regulations regarding camper weights and what you need for vans over 3.500Kgs very confusing though! Have you any experience of the Etrusco A7300DB?

There will be a panel in the floor. Look under your motorhome to see where the tank is, it will be above that. The sensors will need cleaning, I will be doing that when we get back from the the NEC.

I forgot to ask, probably a really stupid question . Here goes, do you need to sanitise or deep clean grey waste tank at all? Atm I put sodium bicarbonate down the plug hole, followed by some white vinegar, to unclog any debris. Is there something else we should be doing? Thanks

Good vlog as always , this is a job I do twice a year, but still using the Puriclean Crystal's but with the disadvantage of having to rinse the system 2-3 times, so once I've emptied my very large tub of puriclean, I'll definitely be using the purisol.👍

Hi Bob, if I put the pump into the water the other end fits into the caravan sucking water into the van. any idea's how I can clean the hose pipe that runs from the outside tap into the aqua roll , thanks Ann x

Fill the Aquaroll with a solution, connect up the external pump to the caravan. Run the taps for a few seconds. Leave for a few hours. The solution will stay in the pipes and clean them.

Thought I covered that in the video, but you might not be able to clean your hose if you have a whale attachment on your pump hose. If you don't, fit a spray attachment to one end of your filling hose and attach the other end to the pump lead, using an inline connector, run your pump from your aquaroll filled with the solution into the hose by opening the spray attachment for a short while until the solution comes out of the spray. Leave for a couple of hours.

Great informative video as always! I do have a question though….when you fill your fresh water tank at a site, and then prime and fill the boiler, should you then top the tank up after priming the boiler? For example, my fresh water tank is 60 litres and my boiler holds 12. So if i fill up with 60 litres and then fill the boiler, that means i only have 48 litres left in the fresh water tank. Could i then add a further 12 litres to the fresh water tank, effectively giving me 72 litres or is that a no no?

Yes, it always needs a bit of top up. If I'm using an Aquaroll it's two barrels. I tend to travel with a little water in the tank and the taps already primed, unless it's really cold.

Excellent video. We tend to prime the taps whist the tank is filling that way you know that everything is being treated. You do. need to add extra chemicals to take into account all the water in the boiler and all the pipes.
