Sanji blocked a laser that was intended to kill. Shocking a character like kizaru is a big deal, it cannot be downplayed. When authors make characters with a typically calm demeanor genuinely react to something it mean you're supposed to take that thing seriously. Marco never blocked an attack from kizaru, his body just regenerated. Sanji is doing all this after taking an attack that made gear 5 bleed.

For its more so the reaction kizaru gave that made it seem impressive, he hasn't made a face like that against anyone, not against luffy, benn beckman, whitebeard And sanji did it pretty casually, no diable or ifrit. Also i struggle to see how sanji is yc2, if he fought queen as he is *right now* he would destroy him, after he unlocked ifrit queen couldn't perceive him at all, he would low diff queen. Same with zoro, if he fought king again he would low diff him, after their power ups the fights were very one sided, now that they have access to their power up freely, if they fought again it would be easy Basically i think zoro is above yc1 and sanji is above yc2, i dont see anything wrong with my logic here. Also if zoro actually was using three swords and advanced conquerors the lucci fight would very different, idk why oda gave him big mom acoc amnesia

Zoro was using acoc at the start of their interaction so lucci pretty mucch knows zoros strongest form already. Id find it hard to believe that lucci will smack ttalk that much when seeing zoro purposely go down in power. Although zoro has been fighting for a while with 2 swords from the very moment saturn arrived. Sanji was perception blitzing queen in his germa genes. In both manga and anime whilst he is already perception blitzing he uses ifrit and demolishes him

Frankly I'm tired of boxing all these characters into these levels. Not all Yonko are equal, not all Admirals are equal, Commanders and so on. There's only headaches when you compartmentalize every group of people in One Piece Zoro seems weak because he's still not fully recovered from everything delt to him on Onigashima, not to mention the Seraphim fight the previous day. It was very common back Pre Timeskip for Zoro to underperform in the arc after an arc he severely injured himself. Most of Post Timeskip he hasn't struggled until Wano.

Can’t really use the “zoro is injured” argument because Lucci should be *more* fatigued/injured or atleast equally so, from getting bent over by Luffy *and* helping with the Seraphim The powerscaling levels do get old asf tho….because almost nobody ever bothers to consider the range. Sanji is not as strong as Zoro, and that is perfectly fine. Still a great fun character. Zoro, on the other hand, does not have anything beyond being strong nowadays. Like he is not Admiral Level, even then the way Oda writes him, he would still somehow defeat newly fed G5 Luffy in 1v1 combat, because Oda does not allow Zoro to lose a fight ever. Zoro transcends power scaling, and not in a good way.

Marco didn't block a single laser, he took them all to the face. He just has a regenerating phoenix fruit that may as well negate all damage in the first place.... Which is why he DIDN'T block said laser the moment he had sea stone handcuffs on him, because he couldn't. Sanji actually blocked the laser, you know who else didn't block the laser? Kuma, the guy with the one of the most ridiculous durability in the entire series aside from like Big Mom and Kaido.

This is Oda's apology to Sanji for not letting him participate in Roof Piece. That's it. But no, Oda will never give nerds like yall a direct answer, that's the whole point of rival characters. Personally I'd say Sanji is between 2nd and 1st Commander level. He beat Queen, but I'm not convinced he could beat King. I'm also gonna say, Franky blasting Saturn with a Radical Beam was cooler than Sanji blocking a shot from Kizaru.

I have a theory that Carrot has more significance than we've been told, when you consider the pattern Oda has set up with the nations that contain the Road Poneglyphs: Fishman Island: *Shirahoshi* (is an Ancient Weapon) Whole Cake Island: *Pudding* (can read Ponegylphs) Wano: *Momonosuke* (has the Voice of all Things) Zou: *Carrot* just became the Duchess. Yes Zunisha is there but he is incapable of acting under his own will unless Momo commands him. Pedro's life goal was to collect the Road Poneglyphs to reach Laugh Tale, a job he did not live to complete but he entrusted Carrot to carry on his Will. I think he & the Dukes knew something about Carrot which ties into the Road Poneglyphs since each of the nations that has one also has a Straw Hat Ally whom is intrinsically tied to them. Carrot is that missing piece. Remember she's not only entrusted in ruling Zou but keeping their Road Poneglyph safe. The Minks have ties back to the Kozuki whom made the Ponegylphs and their ties to the Kozuki Clan go back centuries. I don't think the Dukes would entrust all that to Carrot purely off being chums with the Straw Hats, Pedro had to have known something.

I mean you talk about zoro blocking lasers countless of times and even in pts but that would be refuted by chapter 1032 when zoro says about kings imperial stake how can you block that its like a laser beam. So right in that moment sanji already showed a big feat that even zoro stated he couldnt do. Then we go to gear 5 luffy he was able to eat the laser but when it came to physically blocking it hit him and made him spin in terms of marco he was getting hit by it but just regenerating so he wasnt blocking it he was just healing from the attack he took. Sanji is the only one that has actually blocked a laser so it is a massive feat if u look at the manga and compare supposed similar feats. And to not realise the power creep they get every arc is mental so to even think that sanji would lose to luffy in whole cake let alone katakuri is crazy as u say these but the only reason for this is cause he is a yc1. Although Sanji isnt admiral level he definitely is yc1+

Video summed it up pretty well. However, I disagree on the Zoro's ACOC section.. It's illogical to believe that Zoro needed ACOC at the start to equally fight Lucci in his Awakened form but recessed back to his 2 sword style since Saturn appeared and is having the same difficulty vs Lucci, who hasn't left his Awakened form? 2 sword style is equal to King of hell style?? The evidence points to the fact that Zoro didn't use ACOC or even King of hell. The smoke from his swords are probably his overflowing armament Haki, Zoro not using a King of hell attack on screen doesn't help the case either. You also didn't mentioned the dialogue from Zoro: "You are not the one in control here, Rob Lucci." That dialogue just supports the idea that Zoro isn't going all out or at the least doesn't see Lucci as the superior combatant. Skipping those to mock the "bandana" argument is a bit disingenuous. Zoro seems stronger than Lucci. The Sanji section is well done. Given the feats performed by Zoro, Yamato, Kidd and Law vs multiple top tiers and the community still sees them as vastly inferior to admiral/Yonkos, it's really funny to see Sanji fans celebrate blocking a laser beam and more idiotic, upscaling him to their level lol. It's whatever, as you said, Luffy is there so Sanji doesn't get destroyed by Kizaru.

bro for once sanji isn’t used as a hype tool and people make vids like this. Imma debunk everything this man said in this video First: Pacifista lazar beam speed in return to sabaody vs kizaru’s lazar speed rn is VERY different. This is obvious because luffy fresh out of the timeskip was dodging pacifista lazar beams with ease, while an egghead gear 4 snakeman luffy GOT BLITZED and GOT FLUNG AWAY by kizaru (he wasn’t using acoc though, which powers him up). Kizaru even says himself that there are levels to speed while fighting him. Second, marco blocking lazars from kizaru in marineford isn’t that big of a flex now, since his entire df is focused on support and defense. I. wano, he is casually blocking attacks from king, big mom, and kaido. Sanji can’t do that for big mom and kaido, so him blocking a lazar from kizaru is huge. Third, sanji is first commander level, period. He beats king high diff, beats marco mid-high diff, and katakuri mid- high diff as well. These are fair assumptions considering luffy and zoro’s growth from the past couple arcs. Zoro and sanji ARE NOT EQUALS. I am not saying that sanji is on his level, nor am i saying that zoro is admiral level. Sanji can beat most yc1’s and zoro can beat him as well. you’re welcome for cleaning this up

That's a really bad take, sorry Here's the thing, how strong do you think Rayleigh, Gaban and Oden is? If you are saying Sanji is second commander and Zoro is first commander, that means they are still leagues below Rayleigh and Gaban, and if you compare Luffy and Roger, I don't think the guy who beat Kaido and is only going to get stronger from here is leagues below Roger. He doesn't stand a chance against Roger yet obviously, but it'd be a tough match. I think Sanji is equally far from Oden (Gaban gotta be stronger than Oden, right?) as Luffy is far from Roger, and Oden is comparable to Fujitora and Ryokugyu in my book, so Sanji isn't that far from these 3. He is not as strong as Kizaru as people claim, but he is definitely not that far below them, I think Sanji is definitely comparable to King and Katakuri, either right above or right below them, so saying he's weaker than pre-future sight Luffy who got destoye by Katakuri is outrageous imo
