IBS was tough because questions were unusual and some were difficult too. Like 10 marks question were asked for 5 marks. If icai want to ask difficult questions in exam then why don’t they include them in module. Module mein easy questions do then exam mein band bajao. Kuch questions mein aisi conceptual clarity check kari thi jo individual paper mein bhi nahi karte. Too lengthy paper.

I agree that the papers should be competitive level but shouldn't the institute maintain the same level everytime. Isn't it unfair that in one attempt the papers are easy and many qualified so now in next attempt they'll make it tough

It was almost a dead end in the market for faculties of Law and Costing. But ICAI has REVIVED them after an absolute Knock-Out on students. The deserving prices of their courses will be higher again.

Very true... institute is only focusing on taxation and accounting part..but in higher world strategic management knowledge at broader level is required...and subject in this is required also some longer period of GMCS training is required so that students can get opportunities to think and learn out of the box. Project management, strategic management, decision making skills, business development skills are not tought in CA curriculum. ICAI should look into this..

I found that IBS was not that difficult as such it was 70% moderate cause questions were from module it was just too lengthy to begin with and the remaining 30% was application based which should be encouraged given that we have our modules with us and were asked to apply the same concepts. It was just the 70% part that was wayy too lengthy. Similar questions in individual paper would have easily scored us 10 marks as compared to 5 in IBS

Tough papers ka issue nhi hai AFM mai 14 mrk ke questions hi galat daldiye. It's not about those 14 mrks but it puts you off the entire paper. Especially when u see may 24 afm and target 75+

may 24 was easy for selected students. i compared by rti copies with 5 copies each on youtube (including toppers). even though many solutions matching with suggested still they awarded only 50-60% of marks. for eg wo mishra ko CFS mai 10-12 mark diya hai, uska BS bhi galat hai uska 5 steps galat hai. & I got only 4 of 14 even though my BS talled with WN's (1to9). and ICAI ne reply diya, schedules missing hai. aap batao India mai kaunsa topper hai jo schedules banata hai? this institute has become a selective racist institution.

Sir your suggestion of bringing a subject like management consultancy into CA course is quite excellent! Management consultancy study is ofcourse a well crafted case studies based study the way ICAI wanted to bring plus it'll actually be useful for students going forward after becoming CA as it can inculcate structured thinking approach. Pls write to ICAI about this suggestion of yours.

The value of CA has comedown because of CA Coaching Factories. Before, these factories were not there. anyone can set a paper where no one can get through from the ocean size of the syllabus. First, you guys must stop driving the students on the wrong side. Some faculty are providing all the shortcuts to the students. Now all are started preaching to the students how their preparation should for the exams.

It’s upto the students wat he/she chooses… The same professor gets students with rank also and same professor also will hv students with very low marks. So end efforts and results will always be student dependent !!!

Due to CA like you, as far as my concern quality of current ca is not equal to HSC commerce experience person, so many ca assisted me, know any ca do not know how to start, now NFRA and PMO office will take you on , on wasting important time of students and youth of India...therefore out of 10 ca 80%are divorcee, and out of 10 female CA are sitting at home as housewife..

My friend who cleared in first attempt said that they didn't study anything for IBS. Just copy pasted answers from institute's material. This is the advice or guidance we get from people who cleared . This is due to discrimination in paper setting i feel.

Sir I had given international taxation paper in old scheme and this was exactly the same level of paper. But that was confined to just one subject and IBS is of course a mix of 7. Only economic law had copy paste paper whereas there was injustice with respect to other electives. Still topper students chose international taxation and scored really well. So I guess it’s to do with technique and how we train our self. Guess teachers will guide us through this soon…

In AFM they framed lot of new questions but there hardly given time for proper application of mind and analytical skills.. When questions are newly framed then papers should not be lengthy.. Now a days almost all papers are super lengthy that it’s impossible to write 100 marks, it indirectly encouraging students to skip some preparing some portion of syllabus

All easy and moderate level of questions are there in ICAI module. Then how we students should prepare for solving difficult questions in exam by practicing moderate level questions of module.
