I think I would just lay there and cry with a hang up like that

Ha, it wasn’t that comfortable tbh

Awesome skating, that board slide on the spine was sick, especially trying again after that slam!
@Yomanchamcru26 күн бұрын
Jon, I will never not be in awe of your ability to get back up from a down like a sack of spuds slam... 😮 You know it's a bad one when my wife hears the noise I've just made and calls upstairs to me to ask if I'm alright!

Love the winkowski decks! I always feel like i go faster when i get the itch to throw one back on the trucks

Damn Jon you skate so good on oldschool decks😎

Thanks dude, No looking back or second guessing !

I hope Santa Cruz flowed you that Jon, as that's one hell of an advert for the board.

It’s a cracker !! Right up my street !!

Rippin Jon. I love the old skool decks as I see little glimpses from the past. A Jeff Kendall board would be appropriate for this time of year, the pumpkin graphic one 😉

That boardslide over the spine was amazing! Also love your 50-50 frontside grinds in the bowl and the boardslide to fakie! I'm inspired watching you skate!

sick riding from you and Jake really is a ripper too. Love the Winkowski shape, I had an older version with the powerply.

Decks got a nice colour way. Nothing like a new deck. Rail slide to fakie was on point. I've not got these yet .

It's very much in my style. I do love an old school deck and have cut a few from blanks. Personally I would have gone with 169s or Ace 66s but the 159s aren't out of place.

Nothing like a brand new deck! Amazing video as always.

Great video Jon. I just got a winkowski dope planet and it rides beautifully. I pulled the trigger after seeing you ride it in a previous video. Im an old school skater (50 years old) and mostly ride pools and transition. Keep on shredding and putting out content!

I put a waterborne surf adapter on a winkowski primeval. It's the most fun I've ever had on a skateboard.

Nice one, yeah I popped some C5s on the Dope planet and it went like a rocket! 🚀

Another board you may like is the heroin curb crusher. It's got a wicked 80s shape but with modern concave. I still prefer the winkowski but I'm stoked to try a curb crusher next.

I would be intrigued to see you do a test run video and review with the Dragon Formula wheels, on paper would suit your riding perfectly?
@justinanderson997226 күн бұрын
Oh it is so cool they put the wheel wells Big fan I was so disappointed when they started doing away with those it would be cool to see if they could do this in a everslick with wheel wells
@JonBishopSkate26 күн бұрын
I do like a wheel well, but I struggle to say it 😂
@michaelk.570627 күн бұрын
What wheels do ride on your bowl setup?

Hey dude, thanks for the question! 58mm F4 OG Classics, should have included that 😢

I wanted to avoid this vid but I watched. In 1989 I had already had an Alva Fred Smith Punk 2, Ken Fillion Pumpkin deck and Mike Vallely Elephant deck. All ridden with Indy trucks and slimeballs. The reason I avoided this, this deck was the exact same as a Fazio supermarkets Variflex deck my friend had and I never wanted to admit his garbage board had far better concave than my pro decks. This Jag deck is a direct model of that Variflex board, with better mats
@fuzzylumpkins603426 күн бұрын
The thing I remember most about this board is, Airwalk prototypes - Agnew Middle school in Mesquite Texas and Town East mall and doing my first 21 step acid drop at the JC Penny side stair case. The acid drop was in 3 parts so do not tell me how this must be a record. I know what we had and what we did. I hated this board coming out because it validated how I felt my 80s powell and Alva decks were junk

Great video once more. How you got back after that slam...damn, onw tough guy!! Which spitfire og classics are you riding? 99a? Keep ripping
@JonBishopSkate24 күн бұрын
Thanks dude, yeah F4 99a
@Boardrider3x124 күн бұрын
@@JonBishopSkate Thanks! Is that a smooth bowl, like skatepark concrete, or a bit rougher, like regular concrete? Can't decide between 99a and 97a...finding thw right wheels is so tricky...
@JonBishopSkate24 күн бұрын
@@Boardrider3x1 yeah it’s pretty smooth concrete ! I find 99a works well on wood too, but 97a is fine an all ?!
