Beautiful video I'm born and raised in in Florida and I used to live down in Pompano Beach and then I moved to High Springs and I live right down the street from Blue Springs and that's where it looks like you guys are that Boardwalk there that's Blue Springs yeah I could practically walk there such a beautiful place yeah people don't realize that there's a lot more than beaches in Florida I think the river systems are really something that everybody should see and High Springs Florida the town of High Springs is a great place we on 40 acres here and I don't think I'll ever move

Wow - you're a lucky man! That is one of the most unique and interesting places I've seen. I was happy to run into a local on the river who teamed up with us and showed us some of the cool spots :)

Our next step is to actually buy a piece of property on the river and have like a nice like pole barn and place the barbecue food and you know someplace to just like sit down and relax nothing like big and crazy cuz you know your own property on the river

I love nearby in Alachua about 10-20 mins from High Springs, I'd love to call this area home one day if I could, maybe build a house and have a dock on the river.

Wow - that is quite a dream to have! I hope you see us paddling by from your dock chair one of these days - good luck!

Hey there! The spring you took video footage of is not Ginnie Springs. You were visiting Blue Springs which is North of Ginnie.
@JfCLA7 жыл бұрын
Thanks for calling that to my attention. I actually shot several different springs in the video, but I was under the impression people referred to the area itself as "Ginnie Springs". I read an article in National Geographic many years ago where they did that. What's the proper way to refer to the entire area?
@rossdahoss6 жыл бұрын
The area doesn't have a name it's just a section of the river where all the springs are. That is Blue where you filmed and it's now a state park. Ginnie springs is a little further west of Blue. Gennie, Blue, and Poe are all on that little stretch of the Santa Fe river. Between those 3 places there are probably a total of 10-12 springs.

High Springs is the closest established town to there so maybe High Springs is what you're looking for? I've literally been going to all those springs my entire life.

2 hours east of St. Aug is federal water in the Atlantic Ocean bruh.

Lol! Probably international water by that time - thanks for catching that typo...I misspelled "southern", too! Late night post ;)

completely dissapointed on ginnie springs I just went there 3 days ago to find myself making a line for over 1 hour just to pay and enter and after that all I found was an over crowded place with little space to park and full of noisy and drunk people.

I would suggest doing this canoe ride over going that route. That way, no entrance fee, and if you don't like the scene, you just leave and find the next spring!
