Hello from Virginia just outside Washington, DC. That would be a nice road trip to do, but I'm not sure when I could do something like that. After having done a coast-to-coast trip in September, it will be next spring before I can do another road trip at the earliest.

Hi Unclecoolie! Do you have your dash cam hardwired to your vehicle? If so how did you do it?
@unclecoolie2 жыл бұрын
Hi. It's not hardwired. I just use a windshield suction mount, and I have the camera plugged into the car's USB port for power.

@@isaacemerson8269 Thank you! I will try. I have a cigarette lighter-to-USB adapter that I bring just in case I rent a vehicle that doesn't have USB ports. I bought it on Amazon several years ago. Also, it's good to keep my phone plugged in while I'm driving.

Great drive! What did you do after you got there? Also, did you mean Harry Ried International Airport on your video description? Because that original airport name has been renamed in February 2021. It is named after US Senator Harry Reid, who was represents Nevada from 1987 to 2017.
@unclecoolie2 жыл бұрын
I had to go to Las Vegas for business and I was there the rest of the following week. Yes, I know McCarran Airport has been renamed, but it will always be McCarran Airport to me. Most locals agreed. It's just like how I still refer to DCA as National Airport most of the time.

I had just spent 5 days driving, as well as the fact that I was going to Las Vegas for a week for work, so spending so many days away from my family made it impossible to spend yet several days to drive back. Besides, I don't know that I'd be up to driving another 2,500 miles after having driven 3,400 miles over the previous 5 days of this trip.
