Whenever you watch wrestling, Wwe for example , they make it look easy and effortless, but once you break it down move by move like this you realise just how difficult it is, I have tremendous respect for wrestlers.
@SantinoBros5 жыл бұрын
Practice make it perfect. But it's always a lot harder than it looks, like most things. We often tell our beginners that as a potential wrestler you will have the utmost respect for the wrestlers you thought "suck" when you were just a fan. You realize how difficult each move is and the dangers that follow in even just the basics.

Yeah, not trained here but I've heard that wrestlers even need to be aware of their footwork so they don't catch their feet in the canvas seams. It's crazy how many tiny details there are.

I always thought British bulldog had the most epic looking suplex... especially when he would hold his opponent vertical and walk around. I like how informative and thorough your tutorials are. I been a fan all my life but now as an adult I enjoy learning the fundamentals and science behind the moves, and when I watch matches now I specifically look at their technique after learning from your videos what to look for. I look for when wrestlers call spots to each other low key, and the choreography between the wrestlers. You gotta put a lot of trust in your opponent and I always heard even from Stone Cold that Bret Hart was the best person to work with knowing he'll make you look good and takes his craft seriously when it comes to keeping his opponent safe.

These instructional videos are popping up in my feed a lot lately and there are actually a couple moves I'd like to know more about that I haven't come across yet: the shoulder tackle/shoulder block (aka one of John Cena's "five moves of doom") and the fisherman suplex (both the regular and "spinning" version that doesn't really involve a lot of lifting).

When I give one if they are in trunks I always put my hand on the front of their leg and give a squeeze when I am about to go down. It keeps them from going off to a side and i can actually help push them over if they are bigger guys or the jump isn't as smooth as I had hoped.
