I was in Srinagar during 1965 to 1968 as a college student.Pakistani infiltrators had begun to enter through borders hiding in Batmalu village with some local supporters.Blood shed was being done at some places.Kashmiri pandits were being suppressed and insulted.Posters were seen in city about plebiscite and pro Pakistan sentiments.Sheikh Abdullah was being supported by pro Pakistani people.That period was the real beginning of militancy in Kashmir.
