The main downside to the episodes being a year apart is it becomes unlikely they will do the entire series, which I hope isn't the case, because I want to see SWE do Death Gun, Gabriel, and PoH. Hell, the messed up psychopathic dialogue they could have them do! Also, as psychotic as they portray Asuna, imagine what they could do with PoH and the terror she has of him when they cross paths again during the Underworld War arc! They already touched on PoH once during season one when Kirito corrupted their unholy church and derailed it. Both Death Gun and PoH have scores to settle with Kirito for that!

just finish watching the official then SomethingWitty's version and man...the scene there was dare I say better than the offical! Both Leafa's dub and sub gave outstanding performance and made me teary eye each time I watched them. Yes the incest plot isnt my fav either but you can't deny both actresses put their soul into that moment and delivery. However abridge Leafa, yall that nearly had me cry like i started sobbing...

The argument that Kiritu and Suguha have in this, and the entire sequence with Asuna in the brain room, are definitely leagues better than the garbage they had in the real show. Incest love and tentacle porn... Just what we signed up for...

I actually started watching abridged before the actual SAO show. I could not even watch SAO beyond this Arc because it was just so stupid. The show took a nose dive after Sachi died and it swerved into Harem type territory and this arc completely destroyed Asuna's character from the first one by making her just a damsel in distress. I look forward to every single one of these episodes because this is the one time I have to say that the parody knows when to take its characters more seriously than the original did.
