11:58 The board rundowns are super helpful! How did you power the QC and the Microtubes 200 from a single IEC power port?
@Beau.Burchell5 ай бұрын
There is a IEC Y splitter so you can plug 2 power sources into it. hopefully that makes sense. It will save size and weight if you are able to make it yourself, you can attach multiple cables straight at the socket, if you are comfortable making and adapting power cables. I wouldn't recommend it unless you are confident in your wiring skills. though, so the Y cable is usually the best option for a safe easy solution.

All the power supplies are world power. so they can take 110-220 50 / 60hz. Sweet Foot Pedals makes the power supplies for the pedal boards. So no problem going from different power sources. Very happy with all of it.

This is a great setup thanks for showing. 14:05 are those custom made brackets for the antennas? I'd like to put my reciever under the pedalboard aswell but have to make something to get the antennas fit on the side like this. Do you use the power supply of the pedalboard instead of the OEM adapter of the reciever, is that safe to use?
@Beau.Burchell6 ай бұрын
Yes. Sennheiser sells an antenna rack mount kit. I drilled 2 holes in the side panels and mounted them. You can easily power a QC and a Sennheiser wireless with 1 ciocks dc7
@A.A19956 ай бұрын
@@Beau.Burchell Thanks for the quick and clear response! I ordered a CIOKS SOL to fit the 12V 0,35A max power draw of my Shure QLXDH51 along with my 2 pedals. I too drilled holes in the wood and run BNC cables from the reciever to connectors mounted on the casing. No cables visible at all, just the two antennas at the back.. Aside from the instrument and power cable feed through the top the casing to the pedals ofcourse. This will be a very compact setup with your video as inspiration. Thanks again!

@ 4:49 you mention the UAD Apollo 4, how would that work for a redundancy rig with the Playaudio 1U? Can't the Apollo only connect to one computer at a time directly? Or is there a way to do it through the Playaudio? (As I finished typing this I see now you only have one computer connected anyway my bad. Is it typical you guys don't run 2 computers?)
@Beau.Burchell11 ай бұрын
You are right. For full redundancy, the big guys I’ve seen are running 3 lap tops. 2 of them are for redundant ableton. And then a stand alone UAD computer. Our show isn’t fully reliant on the computers. We could play without the computer. It’s mainly for click and patch changes. But since the boards are at our feet, if the computer ever crashed, we can continue old school and do manual switching.

Thanks for sharing Beau! This is awesome to see, I love how streamlined and compact everything is with the pedalboards. I was wondering how you guys are splitting all of those inputs; was there a separate snake that goes to FoH before the DL32? Also are all of the outputs on the DL32 going into your IEM transmitters (i.e. are you all running stereo IEM's?) Thanks!!!
@Beau.Burchell Жыл бұрын
Everything goes to the dl32. The dl32 acts as a stage box. Aes50 port A goes to the m32c for monitors. Aes50 port B goes to FOH we do have an analog split, but we chose to keep it a more compact cleaner rig because we were flying with all the gear nearly every day.

@@ngenchris ya. Temple iec mod splits to two IEC cables. One goes to the magnum supply and the other goes to the sweet foot power. Both the temple amp mod and the magnum require 24 volts 5amps. So they need their own supply.
