Another good analogy is this: You cannot have a bag that holds all the bags, because the bag holding all the other bags will not hold itself. If you use another bag to hold that bag, that bag will again not hold itself. You cannot have a bag that holds all the bags, you need something that is not a bag to hold all the bags; similarly you cannot explain everything in the natural world using only the natural world, you need something outside it.
