Thank you so much for the subtitles in English and for sharing this delicious recipe! I had tasted it once and fell in love with it, but didn't know how to prepare it. Now I can! Thanks again!!
this is so wonderful! I am byuing this pastry at my local store, and I am living in Russia, Ural. we call it "чак-чак". the thing is we are having a strong Tatar diaspora here, and this is their national cuisine. google says, Tatars and Bashkirs came from Persia (Iran and Transcaucasia), also they are muslims. I've heard of muslim Chinese people -- Uigurs. this is their favourite pastry, too.

Elena L For real? This is amazing! Not like I am religious. I just like the fact, that cuisine can tell a story. A history even. Also I am deeply sorry for Chinese Muslims nowadays. The thing authorities are doing to them is awful.

Hello! What thing they do to the Muslim Chinese people makes you feel sorry. Tell. Or do not spread fake information. Its sinful.
