Sara Bareilles "BRAVE" - By Coleen McMahon feat. Shane Bitney Crone

My best friend, Coleen McMahon and I were recently moved by the song "Brave" (originally recorded by Sara Bareilles). The message of this song is to be proud of who you are and brave enough to stand up for what you believe in. We felt inspired to record our own version of the song and make a silly video in hopes of furthering this message. I was scared to do this ( because I am not a professional singer by any means), but Coleen challenged me to, in a nutshell, be brave. We hope you like it :)

I know you probably get a lot of comments so you're probably not gonna even read this, but I just want to say thank you. I've always been one for equal rights, seeing as my uncle is about to marry his partner and my boyfriend's father is gay (his partner is so freaking amazing) but just seeing your video has made me realize that I'm not making a difference just sitting here on my ass and keeping silent. If we want to be heard, we have to first speak. So just thanks.
