Idk why I love this scene so much. Maybe it's the power in the fact she does it. In the end she defeats him even though she was the one that hanged.

Such an amazing moment. I had a strong feeling from the beginning that Sarah was misunderstood, but I never anticipated this level of righteous fierceness. She wasn't just misunderstood. She was the original hero of the story.

You can thank the director for that. One of the best to come out of Netflix

One thing that I do love about this scene is how loyal Her friends were. They broke the law and gave her a proper burial

I love that this movie is, in a way, a modern interpretation of all the “witches” that have been hanged throughout history. Innocent women, who were sentenced to die and had their names smeared and their families shunned because of baseless accusations. While the people that were ACTUALLY evil, the ones who falsely accused and hanged them, got away Scott-free. I love that this is essentially a movie trilogy about the revenge of those accused “witches” who were hanged and burned throughout history. Such an artistic concept and a way to symbolize the poetic vindication of the victims as we in modern history are now able to recognize that the accusations were baseless and the people who ACTUALLY hanged them were the evil ones! It took a few hundred years, but the world eventually was able to see the truth! Sometimes, justice does prevail in the long run.

I always hated slasher movies, because they seemed so needlessly violent. I loved that this one had such heart, and that the people's suffering mattered in the end.

Needless violence is why people love Slasher movies, but yes it was nice to see something diffrent for once.

Sarah unfortunately was a victim as well. She was the scape goat. And thats horrible

I did a history project based on his scene about the countless women and children and families that were slaughtered based on some false belief of witchcraft during the crusades.

It was I believe one and only time (edit: till Scream 2022 came allong) that I shed a tear watching Slasher movie. It hits you like a ton of bricks that throughout hundreds of years her name was dragged through the mud even though she was innocent of any crimes they accused her. The only crime she was guilty of was love, and in that love she was as brave as one could possibly be. Rest in Peace Sarah Fier- The First of Shadysiders.

So... Sarah had such spiritual power and energy or whatever that she was able to channel her memories to people that touch her remains and curse the Goode family?

Deena was just a passenger and watching what Sarah went through. It wouldn't have been fair to exclude her. She died so Deena could protect their city centuries later.

This the 3rd installment (Fear Street: 1666) is my favorite out of the 3. Probably because of the 1666 flashback. I wish there were more movies of Puritan witches but before the historical witch trials. There are only just a few that I actually enjoy. Naturally, "Hocus Pocus" is at the top of my list! (The 1st 1, not the 2nd 1)
