How this brings back my crystal Clear memories of my beloved Manhattan when I was young-- Auntie Anne, Uncle Henry, Mom, Dad -- what adventures we had in Manhattan! I miss all of you -- I hope we can relive these adventures in The Next World!! And to Sarah Vaughan -- THANK YOU for that beautiful musical memory when I was 2 years old (or younger) - YOURS was the first singing voice I remember hearing-- and I was entranced !!!

This song, as performed by Sassy and her trio, is a celebration of life; maybe the best "2 minutes and 2 seconds" of live jazz and vocal ever recorded.

Many great singers have come and gone but none quite like Sarah!

With such professionalism, both Ms. Sarah and the band members all sweated profusely, the show must go on ! And on and on! Each performance is a new challenge to extend invitation for future engagements, this is the life of a Touring Artist, every night is crucial, nothing is guaranteed! God bless the one and only Ms. Sarah Vaughan!

On a clear day, rise and look around you And you'll see who - just who you are On a clear day, how it will astound you That the glow of your being outshines every star You feel part of every mountain, sea, and shore You can hear from far and near a world you've never heard before And on a clear, on that clear day You can see forevermore Outro] And on that-a clear, on that clear, clear day You can see forever and ever and ever And evermore

George Kallehauge, I fully agree with your "fantastiske" assessment, but George Shearing(s)? He's not the pianist here, or even the composer of this. That was Burton Lane, with lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner.
