Thanks for the informative video - very helpful. Just a cautionary note on mods that impact key and expensive components like auto trans and especially so on vehicles still under warranty. Faced with the costs of a major failure, dealers will always attempt to sheet home responibility to others in the first instance eg you haven't serviced properly, you havent used genuine parts, you have overloaded, you have modified the transmission etc etc etc. The onus is then neatly placed on the customer to prove what the dealer is saying is not correct. And where such important and stressed mods are made, DIYers should regularly return to every component, including fluids, to ensure every item is tight, crack and leak free after many heating and cooling cycles and tough conditions use. Best not to be on your own with the cost of modern diesel and transmission failures.
@SarahandKeelanTravels2 жыл бұрын

A lot of people find these videos helpful.. what should I do? Every Friday evening we release a travel episode and we dedicate mid week episodes for product reviews, installs and QNA videos. We try make them as informational as possible to help people, provide tips and our learnings. Sometimes if a company has a great product we think others will be interested in we try and get our supporters a discount code so when they google how to instal a lithium battery not only will they get the information about the instal a lithium battery but also save some money when they purchase the product they wanted to in the first place. We are just trying to help people and sometimes your dammed if you do and dammed if you don’t 🤷 Just thought I would take the time and explain our situation and why we do specific things. Please let me know what you think we should do. Always up for suggestions. Thanks for the feedback David! Appreciate it mate

@@SarahandKeelanTravels hi i just like the travel part of KZbin it just seems to me that not just you but alot of trsvel videos are becoming more about product placement then the destination and activities that people can do. its only my opinion many people like products and how to install vidoes i just like the travel and activities without the product placement. My favorite KZbin video was your surfing with the dolphins that kind of video or vlog is what keeps me engaged with a chanel

Okay mate I understand that you only like the travel stuff. But you have to realise you are wrong about this video being an advertisement because it’s not. Fair enough you prefer the surfing and fishing aspect which we will post religiously every Friday instead of these install, product reviews which we post mid week. Like John has just stated though this is also how we fund our trip to be able to put fuel in the car and go to these places to film and create content for you to get and enjoy for free. So next time we do post a advertisement just be aware that we arnt making a crap tonne of money off it, and instead of thinking “bugger these guys they are just a big giant ad” maybe think they are just trying to make a buck, to provide us content for free and to put cheap food in there mouths! At the end of the day a video like this takes a whole day to film and most of a day to edit. KZbin will pay us about 100$ at the end of the month for this video. For 20 hours of work, we make around 5$ per hour. That won’t even pay for a half tank of fuel in the Prado haha 😂 It’s all perspective mate! Like I said I appreciate your feedback! I hope that we can retain you as a loyal viewer! Thanks for watching our videos and supporting us!
