I'm a long distance runner. This was my second pregnancy and it took quite a impact on my body I was told to stop running at week 18. For someone so active this crushed me. It was my outlet for everything and I just had to stop. I am currently 5 days post natal and really statyed getting into my own head because I still can hardly walk. This was such a nice release to experience. I hope this will give me the drive I need to wait on my body and get back into my training when I'm ready. Thank you ❤

Thank you. Your videos are an integral part of my healing journey, this one especially! I catch myself throughout the day bunching up the shoulders, especially while nursing, and this practice is helping me realize and correct in the moment.

I am 3 months postpartum and just found your channel. For the first time since having my baby girl, I prioritized myself and my body, and I feel amazing! I had no idea I had so much tension from breastfeeding and carrying around a large baby! Thank you so much!

Thank you. I keep falling asleep sitting up feeding my son and feel like all the muscles in my back are bunched up around my neck. I feel so much better and look forward to future postnatal videos.

Sarah! These videos have been so helpful to me! I am three months postpartum. Due to the cord being wrapped around my son's neck we had a last minute emergency c-section (after I was fully dilated and ready to push). Healing in both places has been difficult and slow. I would love to recommend a post cesarian video to get back to wellness! I know it would help so many mommies! Regaining core flexibility, strength & toning. I have enjoyed your other videos so much, just thought I would leave this suggestion. Again, thank you! I love the upper body tension release and the stress, anxiety & tension.

I also love the music you are using. What is the name of the song that playing during the eagle pose? It’s just magical, I’d like to use it for meditation or something. Thanks again for all you do!

Hello Ashita, how is your core? Have you checked for Diastasis Recti? A backache can be quite common if the core isn't properly restores postpartum. I have a 10 minute Postnatal Yoga for Core routine that you can do 3x/week for a couple of weeks that should help a LOT :) kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZpbRZ2hqe62sgrs

Hi! It's best to ask your doctor for clearance, typically 6 weeks for exercise but this video is gentle stretching and may be appropriate after the1st week depending on how your doctor feels about your condition (show them this video from your phone :)

aren't neck rolls like that bad for you?
@sarahbethyoga8 жыл бұрын
+rico kelly I assume you're referring to the extension? Everybody's body is different and what might work for one person shouldn't be done by another. Take only what works for you. you should always listen to your body first, if it's uncomfortable then skip it or modify.
@cherylb67558 жыл бұрын
rico kelly. I'm not comfortable doing neck rolls myself... so I do Sarah Beth's routine for neck and shoulder tension every time I workout (before doing one of her cool-downs) and every night before doing her bedtime routine for hips and lower back. My neck has been extremely happy, as have I, since I found Sarah Beth. Too, I sometimes combine parts of one routine with another. So maybe there is something in the neck and shoulder routine you would feel more comfortable doing instead of the neck rolls in this routine? Good luck!
