Hey so wonderful to see a reaction to a classic group as BeeGees. Unfortunately, the only brother left is the one in the middle. The one to the right died an early age and the other brother to the left passed away some years back. I was lucky to experience him live in concert here in Denmark 🇩🇰 a few years before his passing. Try to react to: Tom Jones: I’ll never fall in love again. Kenny Rogers: Lady John Lennon: woman Simon and Garfunkel: sound of silence (This is the original) And perhaps this other version (remake) disturbed: sound of silence

There were numerous remakes like to love somebody by Jimmi Somerville in the early 90s. It is not even possible to make an entire footage i.e. a biopic, documentary of them because something will be always miissing, some detail of their caeer. But the started as kids and never quitted writing songs in their studio. Handmade music by really hard working men. Not such a castingshow crap as nowadays.

I enjoy watching these kinds of reactions, but I must say that this one was FAR and AWAY the most reaction I've seen from anyone listening to any song, and it was so genuine...you could tell that this wasn't just a listen, but a full-on experience for Sarah - The Bee Gees had the kind of harmony that could make you think you were floating on a cloud - terrific group.

And The Bee Gees didn’t happen overnight. They were a group when they were just children . They’ve been giving the world unbelievable beautiful music for decade after decade after decade and so on . They evolved every decade and not only sang so beautifully theirselves but wrote number 1 hits for so so many artists out there today . They have stood the test of time and I’m honored to have lived during this great phenomena of a Group . Rest In Peace Robin Andy and Maurice Gibb . Barry is the last lone Bee Gee , may he live out the rest of his years with so much comfort for all the entertainment he and and his brothers has gave the world . Thank you Barry Gibb for sharing all your talent with the world . May you have peace ,love and joy for the remainder of your life . Sincerely, Chris Chamberlain

One of the greatest discoveries in pop music is Barry Gibb's wonderful falsetto which is probably first heard on "You Should Be Dancing" but best showcased here with support from the twins, Robin and Maurice. There was a fourth brother, Andy, who never formally joined the group but, who sang with his brothers whenever his solo career would allow. The Brothers Gibb (BeeGees) are British by birth and Australian by upbringing and, next to the Beatles, the most successful British band in pop history. They are the only group to have UK number one singles in three different decades.

@grapeman632 жыл бұрын
@@angelaowens3311 Sorry Angela, but you're very wrong. That is Barry and the twins Maurice and Robin Gibb. Andy did have a passing resemblance to his elder brother, Robin, but this is the classic BeeGees line-up singing here. This is what the Wikipedia entry for the song says: "The recording process was the longest of all the tracks on Spirits Having Flown as there are nine layers of three-part harmony, creating 27 voices, though the high falsetto voices are the most pronounced in the final mix: Barry on falsetto lead three times falsetto high harmony three times falsetto low harmony three times Barry on natural voice lead three times high harmony three times low harmony three times Barry, Robin and Maurice together on lead three times high harmony three times low harmony three times Imbued with their falsetto style, it is also notable for being one of two songs on the album featuring the Chicago horn section (James Pankow, Walt Parazaider and Lee Loughnane); the other track that features the Chicago members is "Search, Find", in return for the brothers' appearance on the Chicago song "Little Miss Lovin'". On its demo version, Barry begins with count-in. This track does have some backing vocals. The demo lacks the full orchestral feel of the final song."
@angelaowens33112 жыл бұрын
Grahame, I did go and check my facts. Yes you are correct I do seem to recall that Andy sang with them for awhile before going solo, and Barry wrote some of his songs for him if I am not mistaken. I thought this was that performance where Andy sings with them live.

The Gibb brothers started singing together as children, so by the time this was recorded, they'd been singing harmonies together for 20 years already. They also played instruments and they wrote most of their own songs - and also wrote songs for others that have been big hits.
