This was sooooooo cute!!! I just bought my FIRST piece of faux fur (I feel so official) making them previous I just found anything that looked like fur lol anyhoo at Walmart what they do is take the fur from the roll and they cut you a piece that is folded so when they cut whatever size you’re asking for straight up you essentially get two halves or one LONG piece, the piece I got is about 60 inches long and 6 1/2 inches wide for a WHOPPING $1.75 🤭🤭🤭🤭😲😲😲 it’s called faux fur polar and for one yard you pay $13.97 sorry all this is on the tag lol I’m sooooo glad you showed this tutorial cuz now if I want to make a HUGE gnome I know how to piece my stuff together so TY!! You’re the ONLY reason I bought this fur and make gnomes for my tiered trays and house decor so 🙇🏻‍♀️🙇🏻‍♀️

WHOA Walmart has amazing prices on fur!! That's insane - honestly, I've never paid that price for an 1/8th of yard. Great find! Haha Have fun making them with the fur, girl. Honestly, just have fun with it all - it's crafting. :)

@@SarahNenniDaher that’s EXACTLY what she cut was 1/8th of a yard 🤔 funny how you knew that lol.. ya they only had two colors and the other one was a weird brown I didn’t care for it and a little more expensive… When I saw only $1.75 I was like WHOA I should have gotten more but I don’t frigen understand yard-idge and size-idge etc 🤪 I’m already in the works making your farmhouse gnome from socks 🧦 and with the ornament boots..I grabbed a pair of socks from WM however it’s just not the same so I need to hit DT to grab the exact sock you used, honestly it makes the difference!! I have read that you mentioned Jacquard cold water dye for the faux fur but we can still use the other regular dye too right? I tried it yesterday and it turned out Great 👍!

Of course - you can use anything that colors the fur! Whether it remains color fast and won't transfer is the only concern I want people to keep in mind. :)

Of course you can, Simone. I can't explain how weird these little beads are - they are SO slippery that I was worried they would fall off with glue. But you can do either and they'd work. :)
