Purchased my first new car in 1985, a Nissan 720 5sp manual with the 2.4l dual spark plug per cyl for $9,995, no AC no radio no power anything, 289,000 and never broke down, sold it for $1000 when I needed floor mats to keep my feet from getting to wet when it rained, I love the fact this new truck looks easy to work on (which is a rarity now days) and a full boxed in frame like my '85, Now will the Engine not blow head gaskets and the Transmission hold up? this looks like a great opportunity for the aftermarket crowd. and Sarah I give you 5 Penguins as my most detailed and cutest reviewer.

One nice change nissan made is they relocated where the front upper control arm mounts. They moved the mount location up around 2 inches so now if you do a typical 2 inch lift, the upper control arm won't hit the spring/upper strut mount at full droop and no need to replace the upper control arm with an aftermarket one for clearance.

Finally, after watching many, many reviews from various KZbinrs, someone confirms there IS actually an adjustable lumbar support offered in the 2022 model. Multiple other reviewers I've seen have stated lumbar support is NOT offered. On multiple videos I have noticed the lever on the center side of the driver seat but no one, until now has seemed to even notice it is there, while many have stated lumbar option isn't available for 2022 model. That was a dissappointing and potentially deal breaking omission for me. Thanks for actually noticing and confirming this option.

This is what I had hoped the Ranger was going to be. A very utilitarian truck that can be configured in both 2W and 4W and does not lack off-road capabilities. I love the Transmission, I am sick of companies only offering CVT's I hate them and refuse to get another one. CVT makes a care boring and anemia. As for the engine, I like it doesn't have a turbo. They are not the end all be all. This might be worth looking into. Thanks
