Sarah, I'm not in the market for this or any other tRuck at this time. However, I tune to your Channel just for the complete Joy of doing so!! There is no one else going to these lengths to breakdown all the mechanics of a vehicle, test drive it and rate it, especially like you do. I'm 70 yo, and recently contracted COVID and recovering slowly. For comfort, I goto your channel. You are Eye Candy that sweetens the Sour taste of COVID. Your Hands On (literally) knowledge of vehicles is astounding and so well appreciated with comedic contant to boot !! Take Care all. You DON'T Want to Get This . It SUX

I just bought the 2023 model. I couldn't be happier. The transmission is so damn smooth. The ride on the street has got to be one of the most comfortable out of all the trucks I've driven. Tech is pretty solid. My only real complaint is the lack of bolstering in the seats. I was looking at the trd tacoma as well. This is a nicer truck at the moment imo and there wasn't a ridiculous dealer mark up, paid msrp.

Tacoma= 33:1 crawl ratio, C channel frame (on going corrosion frame recalls) , rear drum brakes, now made in Mexico, reliability declining and Toyota tax.

the intrusive computer systems remind me of when I drove the VW Atlas recently. I drive rentals for work and it was the worst car I've driven yet. could not handle snowy parking lots. it was actually dangerous because evey time I tried to pull out of a parking lot onto a plowed road there was a two second lag where it inched forward before taking off. not great if another car is coming

Happy Humpday Sarah!! "Whales f@$king in the ocean." Pretty sure my neighbors heard me LMAO as I sit on the back porch sipping some bourbon.🤣🤣 Your reviews are 2nd to none, which makes me think the manufacturers aren't banking on reviewers lifting their vehicles in the air, exposing flaws that you catch,( unfinished front DS, no rear fender liners) my guess is they figure the press vehicles are gonna eventually get the squeeze(be crushed) after use, so don't worry about certain details only Sarah will catch and point out.😁 You're the best! Stay excellent!!!😎

Wow, great review. I have a 2023 P4X and love it. Just beefy, tanky trucks with a bit of old school like the naturally aspirated V6 (no turbo 4 bangers) and hydraulic power steering. Your review was refreshing. None of the other car review channels get under the car and into the engine. They all repeat the same BS which is what you'd get reading off a brochure from the dealership.

Sarah, watching you on the hill climb, it was partly you, partly the truck. In the dirt, under 30mph, you should be in 4LO. by design. The comp REALLY wants you to be in LO. 4Hi the computer thinks you are on roads in the snow heading to a ski chalet. Also, you need consistent throttle control. When climbing, you have to hold the throttle and let the ABS brick figure out the traction. Even on the D40 when things are slick you have to give the comp a moment to figure out what you are doing, unless you go locked, then all the nannies are switched off.

It's cool seeing the 3rd gen up on the lift, to see how really similar it is underneath to the 2nd gen. The 2nd gens were all front bar with no rear bar. Maybe part of the traction problem uphill is the massive rear sway bar lifting one wheel way off the ground when the other wheel hits a high spot. Some off-road trucks allow you to detach the sway bars for flex and many dedicated off-roaders don’t use sway bars at all.
