I’ve had all three gens of the IS so far, and they just keep getting better. Very reliable (other than maintenance, the only service ever done on any of them was the Takada airbag replacement), fun to drive in a spirited way, and a fantastic sound system in my gen III. Beautiful car and I do love mine…now imagine this vehicle with panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, F Sport Stamped front seats, power rear view mirrors, HUD, Mark Levinson audio/Triple LED Headlights on all models, new infotainment (RX)….that would be a Lexurious launch for the IS 500/350 in a future iteration! I have to say, I want one soooo bad! With AWD for the snow. I would do some performance and a few visual mods to it but otherwise it’s literally the perfect car for me.

Have thought for a long time that the IS350 is the best looking sport sedan and I've always wanted one. I agree it's a little pricey for what you get compared to other's in the category but still a car I love and you know it's going to last.

I love the IS. It has a nice weight distribution you can feel in the corners. It’s low, tight and nimble. I appreciate the use of aluminum in the front subframe, upper and lower control arms and tie rods.

Fun fact, Sarah, the 5.0L v8 F performance coming out this year is the mid level F trim. Lexus execs mentioned to us at Sebring in Florida that the ISF will return next year with a twin turbo 4.0L v8 but said they won’t confirm the power figures yet. I’m looking forward to it, though it’s price will be between $78k-81k As well as other F models will appear. The RCF may get the twin turbo v8 as well and then the NA 5.0V8 will be a F performance RC500

The IS is also my favorite Lexus product that they make. The 2GR isn't the most powerful and definitely can use a higher redline, but it sounds great when revved. The chassis of the IS is more lively than the A4 or C300, and the interior qualities beats the 330i, and above all Lexus running costs will be thousands less than the Germans.

Hi Sarah, Purchasing IS 350 with 180,000 miles for under $7000 ..... ? Black or IS 250 with 180.000 miles for under $7000...... ? White The IS 250 over heated and engine was rebuilt starting from the pistons up (asking $9,000). Simple driving to work via Haleiwa to Airport area, say 45 minutes of winding roads and freeway PS: Shall bring my orange code reader from Carquest LMK which one might be a wiser decision Rylie

You don’t have a duty to retreat in your own home in MD. It’s not codified, but there is a lot of precedent. Threat of death or serious injury is still required, but you don’t have to run.

Off topic, but inspired by a past video, I clay bared my windscreen this week. Never though of it before but it was poorly clearing the rain and had lots of crap. It has never been so clean. It is like new (well almost). At least it is better than ever. Not a great car (VW polo) but appreciate the advice. You are awesome Sarah!

I really like Lexus cars but I wish they would have kept the GS. I'm 6'5" so the IS is really tight for me. I would love to see Toyota stretch this thing about 3 or 4 inches and make a new GS. That and I hope they keep a manual transmission available but it looks like they won't.

I’m looking forward for the IS500 f sport I love that 5.0 it sounds amazing I fell in love with the isf back in 2008 with that 5.0, there’s only 700 of the 500s going to be made for 2022 plus the 500 made for the launch edition so the price probably for sure going to be marked way up to bad it’s not going to be affordable for your average person maybe get one used later on, I have a2020 Camry trd with a similar engine 3.5 I’m sure there the same with different tune trd 301hp is 350 311hp not a whole lot of difference but the Lexus cost way more the v6 should have a turbo or something on it.
