Sarah, the brake lines have a qwinkie tube configuration. Qwinkie tubes reduce excessive vibration in hydraulic systems by smoothing out the pulses of positive displacement pumps. This helps with wear and tear and helps prevent cracks in the steel lines. The traction control system is probably main reason for incorporating this in the design of the brake system. Qwinkie tubes are usually used in the hydraulic systems of aircraft. I appreciate your wit and humor!!
