Tbh this girl explains these tricks better than anyone I’ve seen. My 8 year old daughter and myself will be watching!

Nice! I think you can get a better effect if you first grab the skate with your hand. I remember my first boneless impossible
@SarahParkMatott3 жыл бұрын
I always try to time it to be as close to the same time as possible. If I grab the board first, I loose a lot of the power in my jumping leg! But, I'm sure that would work well for some skaters 💪

That first example of boneless ( with the flick ) might be really useful when learning kickflip.
@SarahParkMatott3 жыл бұрын
Definitely! The boneless flip is a great way to work on catching specifically :D All tricks seem kind of connected, which is what I love about skating 😃

Dude props to you practicing on that thing lmao!!! I ride regular too I never knew how to do the hop on left foot… so this detailed that part!!! Stoked!!! The whole “parallel” thing is what helped!!! 🙌 thanks again!!!

Woo! Glad to hear that part helped💪💪😃 love all these tricks! And i know haha that little deck is not ideal for practicing 😂 but gotta do what I gotta do to skate!

Great video, like all the videos I've seen of yours. Love the way you break things down into smaller pieces and component moves for a trick. I heard about you thru Reddit's NewSkaters subreddit. You might be semi-famous there lol. Thanks for the informative videos; cheers!

Thank you! I’m glad you like the break downs 😃 They’re a lot of fun to come up with too 💪 I’ve heard about the subreddit, although, I’m not on there myself. Stoked that the community there (and you) has been enjoying my videos 😃

Not gonna lie...I had zero desire to learn how to boneless...but damn if you didn't just motivate me to try learning all these great variations...so much love and support to you...lookin forward to your next vid 😁💚💙💚😁

haha the boneless is an incredibly under-rated trick 💪 And it has endless cool variations, which is what I love about it. Glad you liked the video and feel motivated to give them a go! Thanks for your support! 🙏😃

You should throw in a boneless shuv or an Ollie north in your next freestyle contest run;)......

Haha ok sick. Well good luck with your runs. Relax have fun with it and maybe you can go 80s contest Rodney mode;) Better yet maybe throw in a 70s hands down soul carve for the following contest.

Oh yess! The timing is amazing! I literally just got comfortable with doing my (small) regular boneless today. Still need to work on jumping a bit higher, but it's finally feeling less awkward now. So I hope to be working on these variations soon.

Yes, that's awesome you're getting the boneless! The variations are a lot of fun, so I hope you enjoy them too 😃

Cool, I’ll work on these since I’ve been stuck on ollies for a bit! Quick question, how often do you find yourself having to replace your board?
@SarahParkMatott3 жыл бұрын
🤔I haven't really had to replace my deck out of necessity yet. I do have two street setups that I switch back and forth, but I've mostly skated on very smooth concrete, which doesn't wear the deck down much at all. But, this new park I am skating has really rough asphalt, so I immediately noticed more dents and razor tail. I imagine that it will continue to eat away at my deck over the next few months. So, it really depends on where you're skating and how much, since that will affect how it wears down. I wish I had a much better answer for you!

Hey just wanna know are you working you space walks if so how you been progressing?
@SarahParkMatott3 жыл бұрын
Hi, I actually just started working on space walks this week! I'm adding spacewalk practice to my warm up and working on some things I think will help me progress, trying different methods. I'll definitely be sharing the progress here when I start to understand it! 💪

ohh! i just started practicing boneless tricks! my thumb gets sore and crampy after a few minutes tho :( is there a way to solve this?
@SarahParkMatott3 жыл бұрын
Ah, you might just not be used to it🤔 I would say try to relax your grip a bit. It might not look as clean, as the board can sag a bit, but it might help your hand feel less sore, so you can practice longer and build up more strength. That, and of course, breaks 😃 I like to learn two different tricks at a time, so I can go back and forth, work different muscles while the other ones rest!
