I'm not sure if I can tell you just how much this helped me. I have a developed my own coloring style and it is just doing layers and layers and layers of polychromos. Detail work. It takes me AGES to finish anything. But watching you do this.... I was enraptured because watching it is soooo different from my own style and any time I tried to guess what you would do you did the opposite and it came out absolutely incredible. I REALLY need to get out of my comfort zone. This looks beautiful and it looked.... fun. I want that.

It is insanely encouraging to watch these videos. Art has always seemed so out of reach for someone who never fostered the skill when I was young, but having just started painting minis, I'm realizing that anyone can develop these types of skills. Thanks for making content like this!

I really like when you give an approximation of how much time you spent on each page. I feel like when things are sped up and timelapsed it's easy to forget how long the process takes. I know I get frustrated when things take too long, but hearing your time estimates makes that part of things more bearable, then I know that I'm not slow, it's just a long process. :)

Yay, another Kerby Rosanes page!! I just bought this book a couple weeks ago and I have fallen in love with it! The galaxy is super beautiful and looks amazing, well done! If you do another page from this book, can I suggest the one with the books and the waterfall? Trying to make the water look like it's rushing or transparent could be an interesting challenge...

Karen from 'My Colourful Country Life' has just completed this entire book and she has a color along for every page, including the library page. I've learned so much by watching her color in Kerby's books; before I found her channel I was soooo intimidated and wouldn't dare start a Kerby page - now I'm almost halfway through the book :)

The blender is fun! It’s not essential, but it’s great to get rid of those final white specs or smooth out a blend a little more without adding more pigment. I’ve tried a few brands but always come back to the Caran D’Ache one.

What an excellent tip about the alcohol pen! Thank you for sharing it with us. Also, I really liked how you intuitively knew to put in that blue and pink reflection which, from the way I’m looking at your page, seems to reflect the colorful space behind the astronaut. And then the other side seems to reflect what is being seen in the reflection of the mirror visor in front of him/her. So it’s almost as if the astronaut is in a state of somewhat turning because of it. Very cool. Love it.

I am new to this hobby and bought 2 of Kerby Rosanes' books because of their popularity mostly. They are so intimidating I haven't tried anything in them but for 1 color along which is taking me months to complete. I also bought a 12ct set of the Derwent intense and am struggling mightily with them. Your videos using these books and the intktense pencils are really encouraging me to keep at it. Thank you for posting your videos. I truly enjoy them and with each one, I gain more confidence to strike out on my own.

Your work on the light & shadow here was very helpful. Many youtube artists talk about light/dark values being more important than the actual color hues, which gives us more freedom in color choices. Thanks also for the tip about the blenders. I have those very ones but havent used them much, will need to give them another go.
