No mum hate on the BLW at all but just from a fellow mama and paed nurse - if you feed purées along side finger foods, his sleep will drastically improve as he’ll be getting loads more food in + fat for brain development, and you can totally help all you want! Play is good alongside them being fed. BLW just doesn’t give them nearly enough of what they need (it’s actually insane how much they can eat and need to eat) which is why it’s a very touchy subject out there. It’s recommended to do purée and finger foods because when you think about it their belly isn’t getting full by sucking on asparagus lol (not saying that’s what he is eating just an example). And it’s sooo much easier to feed out and about with purees! He is seriously gorgeous! Good luck on the house hunt ❤️❤️

Man I did BLW as well as purees and it was the bomb. I would make purees to take with me (in public), and then let her snack on whole foods when home. I don't regret it because when she's sick all she wants is purees and its a "normal food" and a great way to shove nutrients into a sick baby. I'm 100% for BLW but let some purees in because they come in handy for the future coughs/colds
