i have seen your how to get best quality sound video , so according to that, this saramonic sr m3 will allow my camera audio levels to be low to avoid white noise ? does the bass of the mic also drops the sound is richer like rode in this saramonic mic. also i would like to know what mic. did you use to record this video ?

Depends on the phone. But often you may just need a TRRS to Y splitter that has the TRRS connector on one end and a regular TRS Headphone & microphone jack on the other. You can find them on Amazon. I like the Ugreen ones.

Hey KJ, I have been looking at this one from Movo: amzn.to/2hYmFiB The factor foam filter that comes with the mic is 8cm. However the actual mic length inside the foam filter is only 6.5cm. So this one from Movo should work and it also already has a built in foam filter included.

Most shotgun style mics like this one are Mono. For a concert something like the Rode Stereo Mic Pro would likely be better option.

Good review. But you only mention about the headphone jack , but only helful to monitor audio come out from the Mic and not from the camera. So, still there is no way to monitor the real signals recored by the camera. If you have a loose connection (connectors are NOT equally good across products) then you end up having very BAD audio. I don't think the Mic is capable to extract the Audio being recorded in the camera to send back to the headphone jack ??? If NO, then it is just a thing to be careful about !!! As in any other Mics, we still need to Test record before using the equipments with full confidence !!!

Its true you can only listen to the mic audio and not the audio from the camera. But that is the fault of the camera. At least the mic is giving you something and that's better then nothing.
