Clown Core always felt like they were a band that came out in the 90s. Spawned from local 90s public access and would have been huge in the 2000s by breaking into the mainstream on adult swim. lol. Just my alternate history of clown core.

constraint is a good thing to have in the creative process. This is also applicable to most real world scenarios where you have to come up with solutions with minimal logistics or manning to attain a goal. it only makes sense to have it part of the creative process in art.

I don’t know what’s going on here, I saw the van vid back in the day and I just found out they played Coachella this year. I have so many questions but working in music for over a decade DJ, producing, licensing I can say this. Whoever they are, I’d be shocked if they were self taught. Meme or not both of these individuals have worked incredibly hard at their craft. According to wiki they’re assumed to be jazz musicians and that should come as a shock to no one. The sax solos and that pocket, were incredible. I’ll throw down a gentleman’s wager and say the drummer got his start marching. That snare was clean and effortless. Just one man’s opinion, but look as silly, foolish, scary, unsettling, cute, dangerous, fashionable or whatever else as you want. The music never lies. These clowns mean serious business. 🤡
