Understanding the New NX Sketcher

Longtime NX user here. My opinion of the new sketcher is very poor. It seems like they have tried to stuff a very bad AI in the workflow and have abandoned the sanity of explicit constraint constraint creation.

Questions: Why did the mid-section formed by the arcs and the horizontal lines not create a bounded region? Secondly, are the dimensions being applied to the sketch geometry become expressions or are they only available within the sketch environment?

New sketcher makes it more intuitive for designers moving from SolidWorks.

modifying legacy sketch is difficult. it always show over constrained.
