Can you tell me where you got the information that S-MM2H visa holder can live anywhere in Malaysia? I understand a clause was added in recent S-MM2H applicant's Letter of Condition Acceptance that the holder can visit West Malaysia but not reside there. This is contrary to what yoy stated in the video.

Thanks for your comment! You’re correct that the latest version of the Sarawak-MM2H approval letter states that holders are 'allowed to travel to West Malaysia except to reside there.' However, many MM2H agents and holders have mentioned that this clause isn’t strictly enforced. In fact, Sarawak’s Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts, Mr. Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, said in a written response to CNA that Sarawak-MM2H participants can live anywhere in Malaysia, as long as they fulfill the minimum stay requirement of 30 days a year in Sarawak.

No update! Whatever happened to "truth in advertising"?

May i know what updates you are referring to? I would gladly point you in the right direction. In this video, Sarawak is setting up a lab to refine the program's terms and conditions to better suit the state's needs. This includes more flexible fixed deposit requirements, distinct from the federal MM2H program. The findings from the lab will be presented to the Cabinet for approval. I strive for transparency and will ensure to provide more comprehensive updates in future videos.

Thank you for your feedback. Here are the key points: Sarawak is setting up a lab to refine the program's terms and conditions, ensuring they meet the state's unique needs without replicating all federal MM2H requirements. This includes more flexible fixed deposit terms. The findings will be presented to the Cabinet for approval.
