Really feel ashame with the leaders from the past and current central govt .. See what's the Sarawak has attained nowadays even can spare fund to support the sea game for the country.... A good leader must learn from them, with more greater governance and management skill and equal right policy. Strong stand point to defend the 3R issue... The federal govt. should support Sarawak and Sabah to co host the SEA Games . They should start to work on the infrastructure immediately as it will positively benefit the two states in the future .

@@Cprcnbtch This is what we call INVEST in Tourism, Sports. To attract people and let them spent money here thru foods, accommodation, logistic, entrance fees, taxes etc.. You invest RM 100 Mil for infrastructure, sports facilities, broadcasting rights etc, can get double or triple that for other usage. SEA games is still profitable compare to Commonwealth. Btw this is Sarawak, we have no issue on diesel subsidies or any other subsidies.

Sarawak has the capability to host the games. Better for the Sea Games be held in 4 cities - Kuching, Sibu, Bintulu & Miri so these cities are ready for next bigger event like Commonwealth Games or Asian Games or Olympics Games!

Harap lebih banyak indoor arena buat. For now, volleyball can be held in Sibu. Badminton - Stadium Perpaduan KCH (Sibu Indoor too small for huge crowd), weightlifting - Miri Indoor Stadium. Gymnastics - Sibu Indoor Stadium etc.

SEA games is a waste of money just like the commonwealth games. This will also cause traffic jams if want to host it in sibu or miri leave kuching alone. Road close almost every weekend in kuching.

I agree. There aren't much by way of real benefits from hosting the SEA Games... Waste of money that's better off used to fund the building of cheaper houses for the B40 masses of Sarawak. * building of rumah murah is at a standstill in Sarawak...and houses are priced much higher than their equivalent in Semenanjung. FORGET SEA GAMES!
