Only some routers/access points support this. Mi3c router as shown in this video supports wireless extension. But wireless extension won't be as good and reliable as wired one. Pick your choice. Regards.

I have one query regarding the setup if you don't mind: I am having optilink modem provided with the Bsnl FTTH connection, however, I didn't like the wifi of optilink modem, therefore, I turned off its wifi access and just extending the internet to my another wifi router (TPLink Archer C6) via LAN to WAN connection (LAN from optilink modem to WAN of TPLink router), so my query is: 1) Shall I keep the TPLink router as wifi router with the LAN TO WAN connection (LAN from optilink modem to WAN of TPLink router)? OR Shall I covert TPLink router to Access point via LAN to LAN and disable DHCP? 2) I also have another router Mi3C on another floor connected via Cat6 cable via TPLink router, I have made the Mi3C router as an access point from the TPLink router. Is this connection correct OR shall I make the Mi3C access point from optilink modem? 3) Please suggest some good ONT modem, I saw your video kzbin.info/www/bejne/aWW4ZoKsm8hmj7s, however I am looking for same which have gigaport ethernet port in the ONT modem. I think if you're using the BSNL Router as only Modem and not a router, then you could use LAN to WAN as no device is connected to the BSNL router with WiFi, so there would be no IP conflict.

Great. It works for me. Just one update. Here is my findings. I have bought "TP Link AC1200" router for access point and then I disabled DHCP but it was not letting me put the ( IP + 1 => 192.168.1.2) and saying that this subnet is not enabled for this router. So first I have to update my IP adress of second router to 192.168.1.2. Then I loged in to secound router using 192.168.1.2 and then all work as you mentioned. Thanks for the learning.

Thanks Bhai Finally Got Success Using D-Link Dir600M to Dir 841 LAN-WAN connection was causing problem So switched to LAN-LAN Connection for repeater.. Using DIR-841 as Repeater ( Access Point) Mode Setup Detail 1.Device Mode - Wired & Access Point 2. CHANGE Ip it should be different from Gateway Ip Fill gateway ip as IP of Primary Router ( Written on back of Router) 3. Setup Wifi Name & Password 4. Set User Interface Password Done Connect Again & Enjoy

Bs ek doubt abhi tk clear nhi hua. Router mode me to secondary router ka hi CPU use hoga, but agar m usko access point jaise use karu to CPU kiska use hoga...main router ya secondary router. (Bcz access point me secondary router k sab features nhi disabled rehte h like parenting control, DHCP) Ye important h kyuki ISP provided router ki CPU acchi nhi hoti (ex: Jio router) us case me with multiple devices router fast response nhi deta as main router ko hi DHCP, packeting and routing ka kaam Krna hota h.
