This is the former World Record for Village on the PS4 version. This can, of course, be beaten and I have since done so. (Check end-screen).
However, this was a very stressful path to success due to the spawn glitch which forces me to jump through the 3rd chest window at the start along with the irregular spawning and behaviour of the ganados. Not to mention the lack of grenades and even ammo at times. According to my calculations, the maximum score possible for the PS4 version is just under 206k.
The maximum score I believe I could manage with a little luck and an extra grenade or two would be 205300 with chests of 35, 35 and 31.

Because they don't need to be anything more for a minigame mode. Umbrella Chronicles showcases his powers and takes place before RE4. He was always powerful.

Ive gotten 160,000 and some change with Hunk before on the PS2 version. I watched a lot of pro hunk village videos and copied their strays to best of my ability. I would get around 140,000 and then finally got to 160K. Ive never been more proud of my self. But that was years ago. Castle with Krauser I would consistently get 190,000 and 200,000.

I've kinda given up on the 60fps version on account of all the dumb glitches myself, so it was very interesting to see the route you're using to counterbalance those. I'm used to playing with a Keyboard and Mouse due to me finding it easier to aim overall, especially with Snipers. However, the movement can be quite clunky at times and hard to get used to. :( Have you ever considered using mouse and keyboard? There are parts in this video where I feel like you would've been able to snap on to multiple targets faster with the sniper if you used mouse, potentially getting better score as you'd have more time.

Congratulations for this score, man ! )) it's really an impressive job to hit past 204k with such a limited possibility of getting handgrenades in an entire run alongside different spawning codings of ganados and movement(especially in the beginning of the run where you spawn initial 5 in the cabin for the 1st chest), which make it a lot harder to obtain a high score. I tried doing this a couple of times by myself too several months ago, and yes, as you say, I do think the possible score can be around 205k too on PS4 version with much lower possibility of getting handgrenades from the enemies, and due to the fact that the enemies tend to rush to the character faster and tend to be alerted by the sounds much easier than on GC/Wii/PS3/Xbox360 version, I doubt we'll ever stand a chance to get over 206k unless things go exceptionally well in lots of aspects. :p it's in the same category on the leaderboards by some fan communities, but to me personally it feels like totally a different game from what we saw people play on older consoles just like on the NTSC gamecube version. And I'm glad if you found my videos of help. :p

Thanks a lot ^^ The biggest issue with the ganados on this version seems to be, at least on village, that they sometimes stall. The male ganado with the hat who spawns due to the timer inside the barn after the first combo often just stands still and doesn't even walk towards you. Village is buggier than just the 119 kill glitch. I agree that it feels like a completely different game, especially with Village's glitchy nature. My best chests on this version for village have been 35, 35 (potential 36) and 31. So with a 35,36,31 it would be a little under 206k. But without a magnificent run with the best luck imaginable with grenade drops, 205 and 206k are just pipedreams lol. I did indeed. I've been quietly working on Base and Waterworld for this version. Base I need to learn completely, whereas with Waterworld I just need to consistently spawn all the enemies.

@Marcus B The PS4, XB1 and Switch versions of RE4 make Village harder to achieve record scores because of the spawning glitch, which forces you to jump through the window like I do at the start in order to spawn 5 enemies. If you don't do this then you can only spawn 119 enemies, drastically reducing the potential score. As for the rest of the maps, Castle is also different as enemies seem to spawn slower. I have no idea about Base, but Waterworld behaves just fine. The PS3/Xbox 360 versions suffer from a lack of grenade drops and power ammo. PS4/XB1/Switch have less grenades but more power ammo The standard or original versions of the game seem more balanced in this regard. Yet the differences between PAL and NTSC are notable. This is why World Records are divided by the consoles they are achieved on.

Happy to help, I also have some old HUNK runs from GC, Wii etc. Though not quite the same as on PS4 due to the spawn glitch (hence why I jump through the window at the start of this run) they should give you a rough idea of how to hit 180k, 190k and then the fabled 200k.
