I live in a Mediterranean country and I am always surprised to see that Americans are afraid of eating sardines but they are not afraid of eating something coming out of a plastic box with lot of artificial ingredients. I love sardines and any fish and seafood

On Kelly Hogan’s channel, she recently interviewed a lady (can’t remember her name) who’s been eating EXCLUSIVELY ONLY sardines for several MONTH! She said it was to get relief from her arthritis pain. She was also getting the sardines in water and adding in MCT oil for the extra ketones.

@caprice6825 I didn't ONLY eat the cans of sardines. I would add a soft-boiled egg or sliver of avocado. I ate a can of herrings. I tried different brands of sardines and if in spring water, I added grass-fed butter. THIS is what I meant by "my version".

I’ve been eating sardines since childhood, as did my dad. This was because my grandpa was from Scotland and he always ate sardines. I just thought sardines were normal food most people ate. I prefer them with skin and bones. When eat herring, same fish but bigger, they are usually de-skinned and de-boned. I don’t like them as much because they are so dry! We don’t have a lot of variety in Canada and I’m fine with the “fishiness ”.

Personally, ladies that's what you should be focusing on .. BODYFAT LOSS, and putting on muscle. Ladies if you're over 40 or so.. you should put on as much muscle as you can. I'm not talking about "bodybuilder level", unless of course that's where you want to go. Muscle burns fat and it looks super sexy on ladies!!!!!

I have not been able to lose weight, even on Carnivore .... I just ordered four cases of Sardines... I hope I will be able to eat them, as I have always loved Sardines, but hard to eat plain. The best Sardines are fresh and roasted over an open fire, but I only found those in Spain and not in Canada where we only seem to have canned sardines. Before Carnivore I used to always mix my Sardines with mayo. If I can lose a pound a day on Sardines I will choke them down as I find it impossible to get started on a water fast. Hearing you mention the fat, I ordered the sardines in water as I was trying to keep to Carnivore... I can always add some good olive oil. I think I will be able to eat them if I blend them with a mixer to a pate. I got also some smoked sardines and some with lemon and cracked pepper. I may mix those with the spring water Sardines...
